If you're going to laugh at anything laugh at the notion the Hatton camp had a fight plan 'hammered out in precise detail'.

 

I think the fight plan was basically reliant on Hatton being bigger stronger and more powerfull than Pac. But as naive as their 'gamplan' was,the script that Roach wrote for Manny was punch perfect and tactically brilliant.
I still cant believe how tactically naive Hatton was. The move that started hattons downfall,and the cause of the 1st kd.Was the lead right hook off hattons cocked left and role under hattons lunging hook,and was a move that hatton was seen to berate on 24/7 ''same move every time floyd'' ''i'll just have to give him something to roll on to''
The blame game is inevitable,Hattons a proud man, and such a defeat will hurt immensely but nothing can be taken away from what manny ,and roach, have achieved. Hattons had a brilliant career.And i've thoroughly enjoyed following it. But he fell short against two ATG's. Time to call it a day. Nothing more to prove.
Now we can look forward to Pac v Mayweather.

 

I cant shyt on him or snr for not preparing ricky. They must have drilled him for those 12 weeks or so. Ricky was the one who fought like some amateur..

 

Oh so 'at least Mayweather' was saying the right things .. A trainer's job is about alot more than 'saying the right' things .. Any idiot can say the right things, a trainer should be making adjustments to combat various styles that his fighter is to come up against ..
Lee Beard was there to make Hatton psychologically comfortable and to do some pad work. Floyd Mayweather was supposed to be coming up with the gameplan to negate Manny Pac's strengths ..
Its a little lame to blame Lee Beard for all this, its about as lame as blaming Joe Cortez for Floyds demolition of Ricky ..
Hatton would have always been beaten by Pac because Pac was simply too good but he would have had a better chance with a 'truly' top trainer .. Mayweather Sr is a total fraud as a trainer

Like Mayweather, he was trying 'To say the right things'

 

He looked hilariously inept and uninformed on 24/7.

Ricky sparring, Mayweather shouting instructions, then Beard shouting the exact same thing in a different accent 2 seconds later was a comedy sketch.

 

just looks like a primary school P.E teacher

i just remember him saying before the fight, the camp is going great, i'm getting as much input as anyone and my voice is being heard

 

Ricky made a massive error of judgement if thats true.

For all his imbecility Floyd Snr is probably the best technical coach in the world. If you're listening to some neophyte Taekwondo instructor over one of the worlds great coaches, uhm, well...

 

Why is Floyd the best technical coach in the world ?? Im not taking a shot at you, im just wondering were he got his reputation as a 'genius' coach from ??

Time will tell if Lee Berad is the real deal... there is no doubt that when Ricky starts to promote more shows and has his own stable Lee Beard will form a part of that team... we will have to watch and see where this one goes... Floyd Mayweather Snr was always going to want the ego in this short relationship and I wonder if from the last 3 fights that Ricky should not have got rid of Billy Graham.... I dont think that he has learn't anything new... in fact I think that he may have gone back at step since hs split with Billy Graham....atsch
