    i dont care as such but when people are negotiating money split on fights it certainly holds alot of weight. thats about it.. other then that its just bragging rights

    Networks, promoters, and fighters care a lot.

    And what they care about leads to what we all watch.

    So in that sense we should care about ratings and revenue.

    Nobody knows how a fight is going to sell.

    It's just a risk.


    You only know the numbers after the fight.


    I'm sure the Algieri Pacquiao fight hasn't dented Arums pockets that much.


    Algieri still got a career high payday regardless.
