Does anyone think Murray stands a chance against Katsidis?

I'm not sure where he has slipped at all, in fact I'd say that if anything, he is still improving.

But when Mr Warren brings over a name fighter it's impossible not to be suspicious..... he's either weight drained, small or shot to bits..... or a combination of all three in some cases (Barrera).

Yep I agree again. Katsidis has added consistently high hands and more intelligence to his expert cutting off the ring and heavy hands.

His skin ain't great; but his loss to Casamayor was out of naievity; I personally think Marquez's old legs will suffer should he fight Rocky.

I think Murray is smarter than Mitchell and his tight guard would absorb most of Katsidis attacks in the early rounds and also catch him with the odd counter. As Kat tires Murray would open up more and might get the decision after 12.

Not really thought about a potential fight between those two.... would be quality though :yep

Marquez might opt to stand and fight with him like he did with Diaz - he'd be the best puncher Katsidis has faced to date I'd say :think

It's an interesting match-up for the fact that Marquez has become more aggressive post-Pac II, and therefore more hittable, and as Juan Diaz had him in trouble early at 135 (and Floyd probably could've stopped Juan whenever he wanted too) I think Katsidis' constant pressure/cutting off the ring would cause Marquez to fight at a pace he may not be able to keep up.

I'd favour Marquez to land one of those accurate counters and take Katsidis out, but this ain't the Kats that ran into Casamayors left hand; this would be a close one at this stage IMO:good

No - he would get pushed back and beaten up based on what I've seen of him so far - needs to seriously look at some step up fights first

mitchell's shoulder roll was abysmal. murray wont do that so he might last until the fifth if hes lucky. the competition in British boxing isnt up to scratch in my opinion, i think real prospects like mitchell and murray need to be pushed into the world contender scene at about their 15th fight, insteadd of building up a phony undefeated record against british journeymen boxers, who are usually ****.

I think John can take him, this kid is a smart fighter he holds his hands high and has a lot of stamina....Kats was fading in just those few rounds and throwing wide punches and he comes atcha,John will step in and drill him straight down the pipe, yeah i know it sounds easy but it will be a hard rough fight but i think John will edge him.....and don't forget Kats is a bleeder....

Not really. What does he do better than Katsidis? Neither are defensive experts...they're pressure guys. But Katsidis has faster hands, more power, more experience.
