    I'm expecting a minor upset.
If it was the pre Froch version of Bute, I'd favor him a bunch, but now only slightly.

People seem to be forgetting the fact that his fight against Piotr Wilczewski should have been a draw, his fight against Groves should have been a draw (even though he lost) without the two KD's his match with Dirrell would have been a draw and he wasn't looking particularly hot against Khatchikian before he stopped him in the 11th. Bute shouldn't be considered such an underdog a upset is very possible.

I would like nothing more then to see a brit lose his belt, but I think you've got this one wrong.

That's because you are upset that the UK have more than the USA despite the Yanks having:

    - 5 times the populaton
    - 500 times the drug disgraces
    - 10 times the chances gifted.

Get over it son. It's only going to get worse. But don't worry, I'm sure an American team will win the World Series of Baseball :deal

DeGale did have a hip injury for a long spell where he was unimpressive. He's also a bit of a spotlight hoger and lost intrest in the sport while he was being watched by Andre Ward type audiences with Mick Hennesy on Channel 5.

Wilczewski didn't beat him though (not draw) but he did beat Abraham. Just like Murray did :nod

Degale is very hungry. He's young and hungry and has a lot of tools in his tool box and he can adapt very well.... Bute, not so much.

I feel though Bute has climbed from the depths and he's not as afraid of loosing and he toughened up a bit since his big loss. I wish Bute the best!

If Bute finds that UC to the body early, DeGale will be stopped in 3.:think

So why do you want a Brit to lose a title then? Inferiority complex?

I'm a fan of DeGale, I rate him but I think Bute is a danger.

People seem to have completely written off Bute after Froch and to be fair he hasn't looked sensational since but this fight is different.

Bute is at home, I think that is massive for him.

It is a genuine shot at redemption for Bute and he can turn around all the negative with a convincing win.

He is back at SMW, I think he is back where he belongs.

There is a chance DeGale is over looking him, he says he hasn't but he has been talking Badou Jack and others.

Bute can punch, he can really punch and DeGale has got lazy in fights and sometimes seems to switch off here and there, you do that with Bute and you could end up on your back.

I believe DeGale wins but I'm not overlooking Bute, I'm not writing him off and I hope DeGale hasn't.

Degale claimed in a recent interview he is hoping to get him out of there in 3 but more likely between 3 - 6. Seems he is overlooking him or is just supremely confident. Some fighters are more hungry and better when they have picked up a title. I think it will go the distance with a couple of hairy moments from Bute early.

Degales awkwardness and constant feinting would frustrate Bute late on in the fight where he will mentally give up.

Bute late in the fight when he feels the fight's slipping trough his hands becomes really agressive and desperate and pushes hard. He will not mentally give up unless Degale is stopping him in his tracks with some superb jab or combinations, never by faints, or of frustration.
