He would look about 4 weight classes smaller.

Did you see the size of him against JJ McDonagh, it was noticeable even then, against Smith it will be ridiculous.

Eubank should try go back down to MW. He's one of those who's possibly out grown his natural division but is too small for the best in the weight class above.

I was already of the opinion that Smith would bounce his jab off Junior’s head all night but after last night I know he would seriously knock Junior out.

I’m admiring @lencoreastside baiting with this though. You’re like this with Warrington, too. You make me chuckle mate.

If Eubank fought Smith, Smith would hurt him from range and if they stayed in the pocket he would break Eubank ribs. People make out that Eubank is great up close, we all seen against a world class opponent in Groves he was useless up close at that level. Smith would be Eubanks worst nightmare. Eubank states he walks around at 12st when not training, well in that case he should fight at middleweight or LMW.

I'm not sure if Smith would stop Eubank Jr as he seems to have inherited his dad's great chin but i think Smith would give him a very bad beating thiugh and thought that even before last night.

JK is about 6'2"...not much smaller than The Plank. JJ is also a tricky southpaw, so eubank coping with the stiff as a board Smith may not be as far fetched as it sounds....

JJ is an area level fighter...Callum is a world champion with a good amateur pedigree. There’s lots and lots of levels between them.

Junior has been exposed twice by world level fighters. He’s not on that level. No shame in that, he is hugely entertaining and he puts bums on seats. If he’s matched well he will get a mandatory and who knows. If he got in the ring with Smith he’ll get hurt badly.

I know you don’t rate him, but he’s just done what only Froch could do, and that’s stop Groves. Deserves respect that.

Smith's win over groves cannot be dismissed. I'm not dismissing Smith's win over groves and it's not true that I don't rate him. I do rate him. .i rate him realistically, that's all. .Just not as highly as others seem to. He has many flaws, but is blessed with freakish physical advantages. He gets away with his flaws because of his freaky physical advantages, not IMO due to great boxing talent.

Haha Eubank a chance jeez what do people watch. He is too small for 168 but yet has a chance against the the biggest SMW out there who can box and punch. Forget trolling people should be banned for a lack of knowledge. Am sure we can go back on here a few posters said he would beat bjs in a re match too.

He wasn't exposed by Billy Joe, that was a close fight that could easily have gone the other way.

Smith isn't just too big, he's also very good at what he does. Jr should go after Uzcategui who looks like a hype job. Korobov bashed him and that Argentinan Peewee Herman had him out on his feet with a left hook similar to Jr vs JJ.

So stay away from the Smiths and Gilberto's and target the Uzcategui and Benavidez type fighter's.

Neither have good jabs and they both come to fight on the inside. Jr will be very effective against both IMO but especially Uzcategui who just isn't that good.

That’s a more balanced post bud. I agree that he has a few flaws that are difficult for opponents to exploit because he takes full advantage of his physical attributes. However, he demonstrates great discipline to maintain them advantages...he’s meticulous and patient. Groves is a patient counter puncher but even he felt the urge to force the action and got counter punched himself.

I’ve pointed out his lack of head movement and moving in straight lines in previous posts. You can hinder his work with good footwork cos he does like to set himself. He’s a dedicated lad though and i’m looking forward to watching him improve. He’s nowhere near his full potential yet.

Saunders fought far better vs Lem than he did against Eubank.
