He`s no more talented than about ten other fighters in the division, what is the big deal about this guy, he`s just got a bit of speed and doesn`t know how to set up punches with the jab.

Ok, fair point. I felt BJS in terms of levels was showing Junior up but has BJS poor conditioning kicked in, Junior’s workrate and intensity dragged him back into the fight on the scorecards. We agree on Callum though, mate.

Eubank`s punch output was lousy vs Groves because he was scared of being countered by a hard punching super middle, if he comes out blazing against Smith it will be an early night for him, his father always relied on counter punching too much also.

It would've been a robbery is Eubank was given the nod in the Saunders fight IMO.

When ever a fighter gets asked about Young Christopher, their whole mannerisms change. "Shook" I believe is the appropriate adjective. They go chalk white as if they have seen a ghost. They begin to stutter, and then try to comfort themselves by playing down Junior's abilities.

Calum Smith was so petrified of young Christopher replacing Groves in the final that he was happy to delay the final until 2020 if need be. The world needs to be thankful for the father, Christopher 'English' Livingstone Eubank of the manor of Brighton. He is the only one who can tame the Stallion that is Junior. Anyone who dare faces Junior runs the risk of serious injury as we have tragically seen before. His uppercuts are lethal, constantly having his opponents head rocking back and forward. It's uncomfortable to watch, but thankfully we have the sheriff to help protect and serve.

Yes, his granite mandible and punch output will give him a chance about anybody. Not a massive chance vs Smith but better than most would expect.

if Eubank is trying to prove that he can box it will work against him. What Eubank does well is fight at a ferocious pace throwing high octane, vicious and awkward combinations and the sooner he adopts this style during a fight the better for him. Either way Smith is on a different level, the Smith of the other night is easily the best fighter at super middle the only thing that can stop him is complacency

Ali beat Norton and Frazier in rematches, Ali took powerful shots of Foreman, Norton never had Ali`s chin, but Ali didn`t land power shots vs Norton, Frazier came forwards vs Ali hooking brilliantly in great volume (something Eubank has never faced at his weight) it worked because Ali didn`t have the power to keep Frazier off him whereas Foreman did, Ali use completely different tactics vs Foreman and it worked, what the hell has that got to do with Eubank fighting Smith? Eubank is nothing like Muhammad Ali in his respective weight class and neither was his father. Smith is huge, his guard is great and it`s an active guard also, his lead hand moves and you don`t know what to do next, Groves was trying to feint him with the jab the same way he turned Eubank over, but Smith was too long and ready, he`s going to take over this division, I don`t know how people didn`t spot this guy before.

Agree with this..Hes doing pretty good to push these world class fighters to the limit considering he is meant to be shite...If someone said use one word to describe Jnr, it would be "Beast".. No Am background and a completely amateurish team and hes still with his obvious flaws pushing champs to the absolute brink. One hard fit man he is

The Eubanks using in ring injuries as a marketing tool really is sickening.

He’s very entertaining, in the right fight ‘stylistically’ he’s really enjoyable to watch. That scrap with Spike was loads of fun to watch as was the very one sided fight against Abraham. The posturing when he knocked out Yildirim was proper funny. Obviously he’s a serious kid and has big ambition but the biggest compliment I can give him is that he is never in a dull fight, even against a journeyman.

Too small and Smith's guard nullifies his attack. Need to see Jr in some actual tests before this potential matchup is made.

Jr is an entertaining fighter on the fringe of world level. Any world class boxer will beat him, as he's easily outboxed by the top guys.

If matched properly, it's not beyond the realms of possibility he could pick up a legitimate strap one day. However, that won't be against Callum Smith, who can box and punch. Bad matchup for Eubank.
