Who deserves a shot at the WBC title more than Rubio? I'm not really even a Rubio fan, I'm just being as objective as I can be.

Props to Miguel if he does fight Sergio. I don't view this as a close fight at all. Sergio will blast Miguel out. Miguel had to run from a slow Margarito and was outboxed by Trout. Sergio trumps both those guys in their strengths. The way Sergio prepares for a fight, being at 155lbs won't affect him much.

Their are more deserving middleweights and I would prefer to see Sergio vs ggg. But the cotto fight us a good clash of styles, birth boxers are past their best which evens it out a bit.

I know one thing for sure .

If Cotto somehow wins the title .

No way he defends it against GGG . Cotto is a warrior .

But his management wont allow the fight to happen . Especially at this late point of his career .

For Cotto it's about legacy (the title)
    For Martinez it's about money
For us fans it's about the matchup

"Deserves" has got nothing to do with it.
