You've gone to troll status. Topic has nothing to do with your obsession with Pac and you come on here and try to hijack it to your 2nd grade stupidity.

Cotto might resurrect his career with a proper trainer. I see him as a very talented boxer with bad/actually no guidance. What could have become of Cotto? Maybe its just a good trainer issue. I think he could win another world title at welter but Margo's back and maybe that spells the end for Cotto.

Thank godness you bitchslapped Diva-c. Trolling on theads not related to Pac. JMM has quit bitchin about Pac but you can't still get over it.

As for the thread I'm think so....but not as well as Khan or Bradley would under Roach. I think his training method is to let the guy use his natural talent and enhance and add some element to his game. He doesn't change their style.

way to take control Contendo:good I think he should have went to a big name years ago, He does have a chance to change, but after the 2 bad beatings he's taken that window may have closed.:hat

He saw the mistakes that Cotto was making and it showed in the fight.

I'm serious when I say it is up to Cotto's ego. How bad does he want to continue in the sport and how bad does he want to improve.? He picked the last trainer because he was more of a yes man then a trainer. Picking a good trainer means following his advice and protocol leading up to the fight. That includes were the training camp is.

I agree with this point 100%. I still think he has plenty to offer and it's not too late, IF he was prepapred to listen and put in the work. Roach would be a tough taskmaster and I can only see this being of benefit to Cotto.

However, he maybe his own worst enemy and past wanting to listen...

and think lobk, Santiago had no advice for Cotto during the fight, that means he really had no technical strategy during training camp. I don't get it , Santiago should have played every scenario in his head leading up to the fight. It's as if that dumbass never planned on Cotto having trouble, and he was speechless? You would have thought he would have had advice for EVERY situation and yet he offered none, He should be fired asap.:hat

What he said. Cotto doesn't get enough credit for his achievements. Given that it is more than likely that Marg had plaster wraps his only real loss is to Pac and there is no shame in that. Cotto has a very strong resume.

As for the thread topic: I think that the last two beatings have probably taken a lot from Cotto, but if he had an elite trainer before these he would have made some big improvements, not the least in the area of fight strategies. In some ways I think Cotto is a trainer's dream in so far as he has all the tools and is strong in all areas therefore giving the trainer a lot to work with. But in other ways I think Cotto is very headstrong and prone to doing things his way regardless which might make him difficult to coach.

They made the same mistake that Diaz, De La Hoya, and Hatton made, thinking he's too small. They paid the price.
