Does Cotto view Margarito as just another fight?

Cotto's mindset never changes. That is the way he's always been, and probably ever will be. He trains the same for every fight but knows WHAT he has to prepare for and changes his tactics.

Once again, the Countdown lends itself to a 'psychological ploy' from the Cotto camp.

No, he aint that stupid. He said that this is the toughest fight of his career when training camp started.

Margarito does not hit as hard as his wacked out fans think. He hit Cintron with everything and Cintron took it for that many rounds.

Can't think of any where Cotto looked "unprepared", his standards in terms of preparation are pretty much up there.

I am a fan of miguel cotto, my main concern on this fight is the number of punches Margo con throw in a fight (or round). I hope Cotto is ready for that.

No, but I'm sure he acknowledges it's not against one of the most popular p4p fighters like De La Hoya and Mayweather.

Basically this is what the two think of this fight:

Cotto - toughest and most important fight
    Margo - most important fight

I think they will both bring the kitchen sink and then some in this war.

Yeah, stylistically Williams and Santos were harder fights as they were both huge southpaws with awkward styles, good pop, chins, and power....whereas Cotto will be there to be hit as will Margarito and is much smaller than either of those guys.

Margarito is the biggest, strongest, toughest, hungriest and most unrelenting fighter that Cotto has faced to date.

Will be a great fight and I'm gonna be there, so let the Battle begin!

No, he is taking this fight very seriously. This guy was an tremendous shape a month ago, a lot quicker then he usually is for any other fight.

Hell no, Cotto is not stupid to make such mistakes especially when he knows how important this fight is.

This is just like when everyone said Paul Williams couldn't hit. When you throw 1000s of punches in a fight you are not going to put steam on each one of those shots.

It really isn't his game to put it all on the line like Torres does. Torres lives and dies by the KO. Margarito would much rather win late by being busier and applying a steady amount of punishment over 12.
