I don't see how what I said was in anyway complimentary to Khan either, unless you completely lack reading comprehension. Maidana is a great fighter and both Khan and Roach thought it would be easier than it was, they almost paid for it due to Maidana's grit, heart and determination... how's that in anyway pro Khan? Am I missing something here? And besides that this is completely off topic...
i just think alexander wins vs bradley. why bradley is ranked as no 1 at the weight i do not know,i dont think hes fought more better guys than khan or alexander have fought,i dont think his style and wins are more impressive than either of the other 2 guys.i dont get it tbh.
Bradley has the most impressive resume at 140, that is why he is ranked #1. Do you even watch boxing?

Devon is getting pretty underrated, he had a tricky night with a spoiler that could have gone either way, all this 'Kotelnik was robbed' is bull****, Kotelnik didn't do much himself, Alexander threw more but wasnt effective but Kotelnik wasnt either. Alexander did a serious number on Witter and Urango, both massively impressive wins, he did far better against Witter than Bradley managed!!! I'm unsure on this 1, Bradley is the smarter boxer, Alexander the better athletic specimen, it will be interesting as hell
I think alexander could have learned a lot from the kotelnik fight. To pace himself better and pick his shots more. I think alexander has more natural talent than bradley. I am picking alexander to KO bradley.
How did Devon beat Witter better than Timmy, when Witter messed up his shoulder to end the match early?
I hope Bradley feels Devon can't win...Alexander is still the best of this bunch in my opinion, and the dude has one bad fight (a fight he still won) and now is almost an afterthought. I really like Bradley, and I respect him alot, I just think Alexander is more gifted athletically and will win this fight.
I think he started to underestimate Maidana a lot after the relatively easy time he was having with him up until the 10th... but Maidana proved that if you even take him lightly for a split second you're getting punched. ****ing hard. Khan's ring strategy up until about the 8th round was superb too. But like I said, as he started getting more and more comfortable in there outspeeding Maidana he became more reckless and started to fight a stupid fight. I agree with the bolded though.
I made an allusion to that in the topic post but if anything that would go against Devon... Crowding fighter vs. Boxer-Puncher? No, you're wrong. Kotelnik hurt Alexander quite a few times, was more effective and accurate with his punching, and totally controlled the pace of the fight. He was also more complete with his defense, blocking the majority of what Devon was throwing at him. He outboxed Devon in a great deal of the middle rounds and arguably a few of the late ones. In a fair world he would have taken the split decision. I was there, at the fight. Even people from our hometown thought the poor guy got jobbed.
Indeed that was a dumb post, it was to that point the biggest fight of his career, a defining moment, and he "underestimated him"...GTFOH.
Alexander would have to knock him out to win. Alexander has the same problem a lost of these guys have at 140. No defense & he can't fight inside. I think he's on the same level of guys Bradley already fought. The very underrated Lamont Peterson is a better fighter than Devon. The only reason Devon may have a chance, is because maybe Team Bradley see's something that I don't. I don't think they are afraid of Devon, but they never really "liked" that fight, similar to Roach not liking the Mosley fight regardless of Mosley's age. I like Bradley, i just hope he doesn't have too much ring rust when he only fought ONCE this year. He fought 3 times in 2009 on showtime, goes over to HBO & only fought once.
Bradley struggles with fighters like Alexander. He will give Bradley fits with his jab and countering.
