Yeah, i noticed that one too..Valero could have taken him down in the first round..I just dont get it why he wasnt moving, is he under estimating valero's power? or is that just the way he fights?:huh

Yeah and by the way Khan has the fastest handspeed in the world, Roach has said Khan is faster than even Manny.

Khan is super fast, but it means **** when he has zero punch resistance:lol:

With even a mediocre chin I'd favour him to beat Valero, but I can't see how he can go the whole fight without even being jabbed, and that is all it would take for Valero to smash Khan to pieces:good

combo punching, khan may possibly be faster. but pac still has that lightning quick and laser-like left straight that is faster than any of khan's punches. just look at their sparring video. pac hit khan with that left straight that nobody including khan even saw coming.

Yeah I was only making the point about the speed, Khan-Valero would be a great fight, Roach is improving Khan, his defence, footwork, speed, game plans, everything. Khan could take this fight late 2009 and do a number on Valero.

You are right, but you see Khan is only 22 and is young raw, with time Roach will perfect him and make speed a great weapon.

It's one of the most intriguing fights out there in my opinion.....Khan can't hold a shot, but can Valero adapt to someone who is taller, faster, and won't stop moving (which I assume will be the plan) and can Khan stay away long enough to avoid getting hit with something big (or average, as it doesn't take a big shot to displace him)

IMO, Khan, ahead on the cards, gets stopped with a big shot in the fourth. And when I say stopped, I mean GONE

How is Valero a prospect? He's held belts in two different weight classes and fought a very high standard of opposition :smoke

He's improvin. this div is quite somethin. Hope SOTO comes up to LW too. I believe valero is faster. It's part of the evolution and a new thing he added to his game.I thought before he was slow as F. But now out of no-where. he blitz like that, wow!! Still would like to see him fight someone who can land a punch back.No more punching bag.

Khan should avoid being cornered as ive seen most of valeros fights..If he can maintain that for 12rnds, I think he could win..all advantages is in khans favor, except for power and chin..
