does floyd mayweather avoid his most dangerous challenges again and again?

You must be out of your minds, Floyd is the P4P bad boy and has probably the strongest resume of any fighter out there. Go on boxrec and type it in, then find my anyone in any weight division currently fighting who has a record like that. Pacman? Calzaghe? De La Hoya? Roy Jones? I'm not saying he's a better fighter, but his record is intimidating. Roy Jones was a better fighter but he took some easy fights.

It amazes me how short some people's memories. This man has just beaten the consensus lineal 140lbs champion, who despite limited skills was on an undefeated run of 40+ fights and who had battered numerous world-class fighters will sheer brute force of will. Floyd mugged him, managed to not only outclass but KO the guy too. Say what you want about Hatton but he was a live, dangerous opponent, a warrior who had a world title to defend and who'd never been beat. Being the first man to stop Hatton is a phenomenal achievement.

And then, if that werent enough, he beat a fellow you might have heard of called Oscar De La Hoya at light-middleweight. This unknown mexican was twice his size and had fought as high as middleweight, and little Floyd managed to beat him without too much fuss whatsoever.

Seriously, Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya are probably the two most famous and lucrative boxers in the world right now. They both have feverish fanbases. Ricky Hatton is an extension of Manchester City football and is supported to the same passionate extent. He is a genuine working-class folk legend aswell as being a huge PPV star. Oscar De La Hoya has been on the ****ing Simpsons he's so famous. **** they even made Kelsey Grammar play a different character, Oscar De La Hoya appeared as himself.

Just incase the case hadn't been made, lets just toss a few names of the chancers, journeymen and no-hopers he has beaten over the years.

I for 1 voted yes i just cant see why most people think he isnt that's just bull**** if he didn't he would have better names under his record plain and simple he's not trying to fight dangerous competition he's AVOIDING that! He could probably fight anybody out their cause hes considered the best with good reason but how u go'n to b the g.o.a.t when u aint fighting the best competition out their u could say wut u want but to me hes avoiding some fighters out their that r more of a threat to him than anybody hes faced b4!N i know some floyd boys is go'n to get affended but it is wut it is! After the Diego Corrales fight Floyd did say he wanted Naseem and funny enough Lary merchant said Naseem would never fight Floyd after what he saw agaisnt Diego.

Floyd also said he wanted the winner of Cassamayor/Freites...if this holds any weight as far as ducking.....
