Does having a "chip on your shoulder" help a fighter take punches?

yes this is true. i just thought that tyson interview was a interesting. some guys are great boxers but just don't like to or arent willing to or are just afraid to get hit. its almost as if mentally you arent sure you can take a shot. some of these guys who come up w/ nothing and know inside they HAVE to take a shot no matter how hard seem to be able to take it better.

well the question was based on words from tyson's mouth. at a time in his career he was mad at the world and was a mean nasty s.o.b. and ruddock wasnt hurting him and then towards the end of his career he just didnt want to get hit. so, respectfully...do tell.

Tyson talked a lot of crap and still does, but much of it is actually the Cus' crap.

That guy came up with some utter nonsense.

He would claim that fighters got knocked out because they decided to get KOED, amongst other things.
