You're not totally right...there ARE boxers who genuinely hated each other.

Sugar Ray Robinson and Carmen Basilio

Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barerra

Joe Frazier genuinely hated Muhammad Ali

    Oscar DelaHoya and Fernando Vargas

every opponent of Jack Johnson who was a 'white hope' with maybe the exception of Jess Willard hated him(Jim Jeffries gained much respect for him after his one-sided loss however)

There was enough resentment/competitiveness between Roy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver Tthat hate like intensity developed between them

Joe Calzaghe and Carl Froch REALLY dislike each other.....a fight between them would have been sensational because of this

The Klitschkos truly hate David Haye and want to decapitate him like he depicted them on his T-shirt

Vic Darchinyan has a burning dislike and borderline unhealthy obsessiveness with Nonito Donaire

I think it's Basilio talking about Ray at the 0:48 mark.

You cant expect boxers to hate each other all the time, most of the time they dont.

Gatti-Ward were good friends but that fight was as vicious as any.

Pac has no reason to hate Clottey, or Cotto, or Hatton. He has a reason to dislike Floyd though so that will be interesting.

Staredowns are for the media. Laughing isn't uncommon.
