Does Mares even open his eyes when he punches? I got the feeling Moreno could have stepped aside and let Mares punch a corner and he wouldn't even notice.

I'm kind of disappointed, I just feel he's even regressed from his amateur days. :verysad

Moreno would have got a point deduction for stepping aside.

Peripheral vision and knowing where your opponent is, Martinez tko Williams, Garcia tko khan, they weren't looking but landed their big shots, sucks that Mares doesnt have a lot of power.

How dumb are you? Moreno is one of the slickest fighters in the game, yet Mares repeatedly timed him with punches.

    Do you smoke crack?

I don't think Mares thinks much about where his punches go he just throws from bell to bell.

You don't think that pulling mares down is dirty? A lot of fighters fight like that **** ward hop and Alexander and Bradley do that **** as well no one told Moreno to be dirty it was his choice and his inability to In fight that led to his frustration and kept pulling mares down reminiscent of Kahns **** infighting against Peterson

I dont think Mares intentionally throws dirty punches but at the same time he is not concerned whatsoever at not throwing them so during a 12 round fight they make their appearance every now and then.

You really think that bro if he don't know he wouldn't be beating top opponent's consistently it takes skill to do what he did Moreno is such a slick guy just look at the combo that sent Moreno down it was about a 4-6 beautiful combo that got Moreno down.

Some people on this board got to be on the same level as Forrest Gump, but they don't got ****** powers.

    They're just ****in ******ed.

No offense to people that actually suffer from that affliction.

Who else has managed to mark Moreno up like Mares? ****, against Darchinyan, Moreno was looking like a poor man's Pernell Whitaker.

This time, he gets marked up more than he ever has, and Mares is garbage?

my problem was the ref being on Morenos ass the whole time for every little thing he did, yet ignoring Mares dirty fighting. because we all know Mares "does what it takes". when you're dealing with a super aggressive dude that comes in with his head and fouls, what are you supposed to do?

he kept stopping the momentum when it favored Moreno and making him cautious about being deducted.

i give props to mares, i think he may have won regardless. but you gotta admit, that was shitty ref. never seen that clown ref a fight before tonight.

I'm joking a bit. He knows he's going to the body when he comes in, but the blows are already in motion when an opponent holds his head. That's why he hits low.

I love his bell to bell mentality. He's going to throw until he's made to stop.

    Good for the props Bro,

to answer your question MORENO pulled mares down because he was frustrated and fearful of Mares headbutting him Correct even though there was never a head clash? What is he supposed to do? hmmmm In fight or run, not pull head down, the point deduction happened when Mares wasn't even coming in but when he Moreno was cornered and frustrated no way out cause he can't infight and mares had him blocked so he fouled CHEck the Video. ........... Not once in those aggressive barrages from Mares did Mares Head but Moreno he lowers his head true but it's how he sets up to get in.

Another note, ref told Mares foul once more below the belt and I'll take a point. Mares never did it again.

Ref told Moreno stop pulling Mares down, he continued doing so and in the most blatant one took a point...

He also did warn Mares many times, Said just because Moreno is turning his back or pulling him doesn't give him the right to punch and MARES NEVER DID :deal
