Whether you agree with Mosley's ranking, RING has him ranked there. It stands: Margarito is #1, Shane is #3. It fits their criteria. It'll all be cleared up this summer anyway.

Add to the fact that Margarito ducked a rematch with the #2 welter in Williams prior to Williams move from 147, it makes all the sense in the world for him not to have earned the ring belt.

Williams is being forced out of the division. They would have him ranked at 147 at #2 had he not won a belt at 154.

It's a shame though. If Mosley loses to Margo, Mosley becomes a worthless fight. (For Williams)

And then that leaves 3 of the top 5 at 147 promoted by Arum who refuses to let his fighters fight Williams.

Mosley doesn't deserve that ranking. He has not fought at 147 in over a year nor won there in nearly 2.

But you right it will be cleared up.

    "Ducked a rematch."

Only Margarito gets **** for not facing guys TWICE.

Either way, the way they are ranked NOW, it falls into the criteria the Ring made. WIlliams isn't ranked @ 147 anymore, so your point is moot.

When Marg beats Mosley, I'm sure the Marg vs Cotto rematch will be for the ring belt

Though I fully agree I would like to see Williams Margarito 2 happen, I will not sit here and bull**** the facts.
Margarito has rightfully earned his #1 spot at Welter Weight, nobody is denying that. Whats ****ed up is that the #2 guy does not automaticly go to Paul Williams soley based on Pauls win over Tony nearly 2 years ago.

Paul had lost in his first defense to a man who was ranked #6 or 7, Then he came back to win the rematch by way of Knock out, but that doesnt automaticly get him his #2 spot back, lossing to a man that low in the ratings, when Carlos beat Paul was he rated #2? didnt think so.

and since that Quintana rematch what has Paul done to rightfully claim that #2 spot? Not a damn thing, so in respect, Paul even if he stayed at Welter Weight he would not be the #2 guy unless he managed to find the perfect opponent that would put him there, which hasnt happend, Paul was took quick to move up to Middleweight and fight, now he is at 154 Paul did not leave the Welter Weight divison because nobody would fight him, Paul left because he is having trouble making the weight.

Yea DUCKED A REMATCH. With 4 million dollars behind it. He has more of a reason to rematch Williams than he did Cintron AND Cotto. I know your thanking god along with Margarito that Williams left 147:lol:

Sorry little kid, I am NOT thanking anyone Williams left. But he says he can still make 147m so did he really leave for good? I'd have loved to see him vs, Margarito again, Clottey, Cotto or Cintron. That was a pretty weak attempt at antagonizing BTW. You aren't smart or clever enough.

You dont need to be smart to know Margarito took 2 mill to fight an old Mosley in stead of a career high 4 million to avenge a lost to a prime Williams. Even you aint that stupid.

You have no clue that Paul is having trouble making weight. He offered Margo a fight at 147. Why would he do that if he is having trouble?

And Williams has left the division because the top welterweights are promoted by Arum. And unless Mosley somehow beats Margo, the top 3 WWs (not including Williams) would all be promoted by Arum.

And Arum who I quote exactly said

The fact is Bob Arum is pushing Williams out of the division.

You're night, I am not stupid. His fight w/ Shane might be for less, but it's a higher profile fight.

So because it didn't work out with the Pavlik fight he's not going to allow any of his fighters to fight Williams?

    Please Lance... you know better.

Arum was going to sue Margo to stop Williams-Margo from happening so that Margo could just go straight to Cotto.

He knows Williams would beat his fighters. It's a smart move on his part but sad for boxing.
