Mosley is the worst match up considering overall size and ability. Pac may be able to beat Cotto. Cotto can be out on ***** street and is not an adaptable fighter like Floyd. IMO, Pac might knock Cotto out if he can avoid too many flush shots. I don't even know if Cotto will beat Clottey anyways though.
i agree that a fight with floyd will be a great addition to his legacy, but i won't accuse him of ducking. still, i want this fight to happen though i feel that pac will have hard times against him.
I did also. And if you and me saw them, you know Roger did. Manny is going to have to be the best he's been yet to beat Floyd. The Marquez fights are proof that as a pure technician, he still has work to do. And we're probably about to see in a couple months just how much better of a combined technician/ athlete Floyd is than Marquez. Bottom line, I just don't want to see this fight consigned to message board fantasies for the next ten years. It just needs to happen.
Most winnable, but I still give him a chance against anyone, but just the best chance to beat Cotto. I'm not too sure Cotto will beat Clottey though. I'm like 50/50 on it right now.
floyd fanboys should be last people to call pac a ducker! floyd duck every good WW possbile by retiring and just to comeback to fight a lightweight. if pac is a duck then floyd is a true blue chicken!
yeah, you're right, most winnable. im not discounting pac's chances too. i think cotto will lose to clottey
Pac has nothing to prove and shouldn't take the Floyd fight on any terms that favor Floyd (which is how PBF will want it). Pac's been very good for the sport and we need more fighters with his class in and out of the ring, he doesn't have to get involved with any cheesy Floyd B.S. Boxing gets enough bad press with the general public and Floyd doesn't help that issue a whole lot; for a guy who's made millions off the sport he sure doesn't convey a genuine moral character that's conducive to broadening the fanbase. I'd like to see them go at it, if PBF doesn't try to turn the tables in his favor (although he already timed his comeback to mess with Pac and that's typical Floyd punkass B.S.). Playing the bad guy outside the ring and pissing off fans in the ring is crap, and Pac doesn't need it to prove a thing.
I dunno, whats with floyd not fighting anyone? And when he chooses to fight the Baldomir's of the world he runs his way to a decision. Its not 2007, when Floyd can claim the #1 p4p, its 2009 and its PAc whose #1 not the other way around.:deal
For the sake of boxing it has to happen. Boxing is on top again and it's all a matter of the right fights being made.
