No that easy... You're dealing with Floyd, you need to be his ***** to make the cut.

First OSTD, now the lawsuit. If only Floyd don't have that primadona ego, the fight would have already been made.

Even Greenburg was caught off guard when Floyd took a vacation when the fight was very close to being made.

Most Floyd fans here claims Pacquiao have slim chances on winning that case, so I don't get the bitching over it at all.

As I stated earlier in this thread, the fight will happen within the next year and a half and any fights between then are just business decisions. I just find it funny that Floyd nutsackswingers actually believed Floyd was gunning for Pacquiao in May 5th and getting a hard-on over Fat Dan's article.

So I say...that the Floyd Camp could use their upcoming "big announcement" to corner/pressure Pac and you're asking me what my problem is? Seriously? What's your argument here, that it's a bad idea? Who gives a **** if he already has a month old video calling out the "lil fella". If I remember correctly he backtracked from those comments. You're barking up the wrong tree dip****. So you're saying if Floyd/Ellerbe goes to ESPN Monday along with the accompanying all-out coverage and say "I want Pacqiuao"...it's a bad idea becoz what?....he...already has a fighthype video from a couple of months ago? Huh? ESPN---Fighthype/ Now---then. WTF? Let me be clear, is that what you're arguing against or are you just here to ****in instigate ****? If it's a bad idea, by all means, explain away.

The press conference is for a FIGHT ANNOUNCMENT! Once it gets to that point, it's too late. What don't YOU understand about that?

No, he actually hasn't back off from those comments. You're thinking about the "Pacquiao, you're next" statement, before the Ortiz fight. This video was a week after the JMM fight (Nov. 28. 2011).:patsch

You're dense, for no reason. ESPN (Dan Rafael) FIRST REPORTED ON MAYWEATHER CALLING PAQUIAO FOR MAY 5TH!! They even discussed it on air. Wtf is him reiterating the same **** going to accomplish?

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7184086/floyd-mayweather-jr-wants-make-biggest-fight-possible-5

Seriously, calling out Pacquiao again, this time on tv is going to do what exactly? :huh

So calling Pac out again to the world on their upcoming announcement is a bad idea because.... they've already done it before? Man, ***** logic is geeerrrreeaaat! This is essentially what you're saying and doing quite a great job in looking like a ****ing moron.

Well to answer the above quote it's all about overwhelming public pressure numbnuts, overwhelming public demand, Pac losing face if he doesnt accept,...umm what else to make it crystal clear for yor dumbass,.....Jinky questioning his manhood. Are you still scratching your head? This makes too much sense?

Look, they're not gonna do it because they never had any intention of fighting Pac this May. And just to show you I can be fair, Arum had no intentions of it either when he had JMMIV staring him in the face.

Pacquiao already has overwhelming public pressure, they've both had overwhelming pressure to fight each other since 09'. Sorry if you just started on this boxing **** in 2010.

You want Mayweather to go on tv and call out Pacquiao, do you also want him to do a stupid countdown clock too like Arum did? Cause that sure worked.

None of that **** matters. Everyone knows now, every reporter recognizes and is reporting that Arum and Top Rank are ducking Mayweather. Do a search, it's all over the place. THE WORD IS ALREADY OUT!

I can't explain anymore to you, because you're as dense as a ******. So I'll leave it at that.

All Floyd has to do is go on Sportscenter, sit down with Stephen A. Smith and say "I want you Pac on May 5th and if you don't comply you're a gutless coward". Of course ***** logic dictates this is a bad idea. LOL, thats rich man, you calling me a ****** when you fail to see the logic in that.

My point exactly, they already had a fight lined up. That's the problem with you *****s, you mindlessly argue against every lil point despite how reasonable it is and you just end up owning yourselves.

Well we all know Bob Arum, and we could question Pac's stand into it but when really look at it. If Floyd was really serious in taking on Pac he would've contacted TR and negotiate. He shouldn't have not booked the place (the date makes business sense though). Because the way things happen is the major casinos and venues will bid for where the fight would take place etc etc. That's how it really happens and Floyd knows that, where do you think the bidding money goes when Floyd has already decided the venue? I am not a Bobtard but that May 5 booking is just a PR move from Floyd., For all we know what may come up when and If Bob or Pac bites that(w/c is impossible when you look at it in a business point of view).

I do not like that fat jewish son of a ***** but when it comes to business he makes a hell of a lot of sense. Well, I wish that at this time organizing a fight would be easy as calling out other fighters and setting the date and venue, especially in this era even more so on a fight of this caliber/scale.

Pacman fights June 9 or 16

    By Nick Giongco

Top Rank chief Bob Arum told fightnews and Manila Bulletin that Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring on June 9 or June 16 against a soon-to-be-named opponent. Together with Pacquiao’s Canadian adviser Mike Koncz, Arum is traveling to Manila Sunday and he will be arriving Tuesday morning.

Four names have emerged as candidates to face Pacquiao but the leading candidates are Tim Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez, while the darkhorse favorites are Lamont Peterson and Miguel Cotto. Arum said the lucrative showdown with Floyd Mayweather will be perfect for November, and not on May 5.

The MGM Grand can only hold 18,000 people and a fight of such magnitude, stressed Arum, has to be staged in a bigger venue to maximize revenue.
