Does Pascal have a chance in the rematch with Kovalev

Pascal is a tough fxcker to have to defeat twice. I think this is a dangerous fight for Kovalev. But then again fighting Kovalev twice is pretty brutal. Hats off to both guys.

 

There shouldn't even be a rematch.

 

Yes he does the first fight was very exciting pascal took some thunderous shots and fought back hard but kovalev was just to powerful

 

He has a chance he nailed kovalev with some big shots last time out he needs a ko though

 

Ya I thought the first fight was very brutal. Some good power in that division with Beterbiev and Stevenson also. Would like to see Beterbiev fight Fonfara.

 

He has no chance but he's one of the few guys who can actually take Kov's punishment and make it exciting.
Under-card isn't bad either.

 

pascal hits like a truck as well not as hard as those guys but he hits hard lets just say ward could not take pascals shots let alone kovalev or Stevenson ,beterbiev

 

So how exactly does pascal have a shot???
The question wasn't does pascal have enough left to make it exciting. with his chin , I think we have an exciting knock out to watch.

But pascal wasn't a young buck that needed more development, he's even older now which will mean he'll get taken out faster. He was literally ko'smg in round 3

It's possible that round 3 ko took everything out of him. Had he not got caught in round 3 maybe he cathes Kovalev at some point... problem is, pasc regrouped and landed his best counter shot s cleanly more than a few times and not once had he buzzed Kovalev.

I remember idiots on here claiming his chin was weak and he'll be exposed soon.. Well, I've seen himy take many clean shots and I've never seen him hurt..

Pascal is not on the elite level, so he'll never beat anyone that's truly elite

Kovalev beat Pascal up pretty bad the first fight. Had him dizzy a few times. It was a very decisive victory so this "rematch" makes no sense to me. Not so sure about Kova now with this kind of dumb decision making process.

 

Why is that? Biased opinion against Ward or something else?

 

He has about 10% puncher's chance taking into account that he doesn't hit that hard.
