I don't know if Mayweather paid Cortez & later Bayless or whether it was the NSAC but both were nothing more than minders for Floyd. They watched over him like a mother hen guards her chicks. Floyd was the Vegas Golden Goose he was NEVER going to be allowed to lose that bogus 0. In Maidana 1 Tony Weekes, a very good & honest official, called that fight straight down the middle. Maidana beat up on Mayweather & really beat him, but Vegas officials judged him the winner. Mayweather bleated & cried " Maidana roughed me up & beat me up & ref did nothing to stop him" ROFLMAO Bayless made sure Maidana had no chance in the rematch. It was so blatant!!!! The IV scandal just about proved what a farce Mayweathers career was.
Dave Paris did an utterly shitty job in that fight. Ricky's low blow alone should've been cause for DQ, (the most blatant low blow I've ever seen other than one of Golota's)
LOL, it was fmj that was stopping Hatton from having any inside success. When one fighter (fmj) is way better inside AND outside there ain't much he can do. Fmj was messing Hatton up inside, did you seriously watch the fight ?
Bayless is arguably the best ref in the game today. No one here had a problem with him until PBF-Maidana 2 when Bayless wouldn't allow Maidana to foul and maul PBF like Tony Weeks did in their first fight..
It's great that Floyd cam pay off people but everyone else's money is no good in boxing.. Either that or no one thinks to pay off anyone... Since Floyd had boxing as a sport in his pocket his whole career, I'm sure someone else could do the same.. There would be a bunch of Floyds running boxing but instead, we get guys who can't sell a piece of what Floyd was.. No one else have the capability to cherry picking their whole career while taking little to no damage and rob the sport.. Buy a couple refs and judges and cherry pick and you'll leave a multi millionaire...
