I think he'll have success. He's pretty strong. Donaire wasn't able to push him around like I thought he could. He is small but I think he has enough abilities to do damage. I think he should move up and challenge himself.

He can't really act like Floyd because of the language barrier. Floyd was always more exciting than Rigo. He was more offensive. All he can do is keep winning and hope he gets recognition. Bob Arum is a ****ing ***** for saying that **** about being hard to promote.

TBH, nobody gives a **** about you or I because we will tune in regardless. Unfortunately, the best match-ups in boxing do not always draw the biggest crowds. what i am talking about is what it takes to be a cross over star in this era. (hardcore fans are a dying bread)

mayorga had a style that the casual fan loves. his personality was strong so people could identify with him regardless of the language barrier. I think he could have made more money if he had the talent of rigo, but sadly he did not.

He needs to throw more punches. It is that simple. 30 a round isn't going to sell rickets, PPV's, or having people wanting to watch him.

Couple things we need to point out:
    1. Rigo is only 122 lbs, historically it's always been harder to sell smaller fighters. (How often is it that we see PPV for featherweights?)
    2.He doesn't speak english/culture gap/etc

These are major factors that hurt his marketability.
