Does RJJ see a weakness in Calzaghe he thinks he can exploit?

Roy lacks the stamina to keep the body punches coming, he's going to run out of gas within 5 to 6 rounds tops, he couldn't afford staying active enough against Tarver in the third fight 4 years ago, it's only getting worse now. If he wants to win this he needs to rely on activity and landing more all the way to a decision, a KO for RJJ is nearly impossible in my opinion. Calzaghe didn't try hard to make this fight years ago and took it now for a reason, he has all the advantages.

I don't know if Jones is going to gas within 5 0r 6 rds he 's not Tarver ..In that 3rd fight with Tarver if he hadn't clowned around so dam much he could of made it a much closer fight ..I beleive in order for JONES to win he has to keep it in the middle of the ring ..Even though Joe is an offense machine Jones needs to beat Joe to the punch .It be nice to see if Jones can muster up some of that old defense and them unleash his hands .Joe may have all the advantgaes but lets hope RJJ has saved all of his bag of tricks for this one last fight..

That's exactly what I'm saying here, he definitely needs to keep it in the middle of the ring but lacks the stamina to do so which is why he goes to the ropes a lot and looks to counter instead. Against Tarver whenever it was in the middle of the ring Tarver was lost but RJJ didn't have the stamina to keep that up in the third fight and it's only worse now.

Really begging to see RJJ come up with a win in any way possible but I won't be expecting it. Calzaghe took this fight now and didn't try hard enough to make it years ago for a reason.

I really think he was gun shy in the 3rd fight more so than gassed ..He was way to cautious in that fight and it almost got him ktfo again..

I did like what he showed against Tito though Tito is a shell of his former self and is not as technically savey as JC but he did show some decent defense ...Joe doesn't have that much power to worry Roy but he can score ..As long as he's first he can beat Joe..Its all up to Roy he's the huge underdog ..Its time to prove the doubters wrong again..

Somehow Jones adapted his style and it works at least against mediocre opposition. But i have a hard time believing a shot fighter will win against a top3 p4p boxer. He looked horrible against Johnson and Tarver, and i wouldnt count out that he will look the same against Calzaghe. I was surprised with his last performance, but well it was against a retired Tito, and also in this fight, you could see his former excellent footwork and reflexes are gone.
I agree with the guy saying Jones should go for the early kill. Prime Roy would be able to do that, but this version of Roy? Unlikely...
