Does Tavoris Cloud fight exactly like Jeff Lacy?

Think about it people Cloud style the way he fights and look reminds me of Lacy back when Lacy was at his best before he got destroyed by Calzaghe. Me personally Cloud needs to improve his defense and needs to use his jab more cause if he doesn't improve those 2 things, he will get destroyed maybe by Dawson or maybe against Pascal.

 

Or maybe Clinton Woods.

Ok tell me what Cloud does differently in style then what Lacy does before facing Calzaghe?

Cloud is more talented than Lacy. Has faster hands, better headmovement, and paces himself better.

 

I've seen him fight one time and he looked nothing like Lacy. He seemed to be doing a James Toney impersonation to me.

 

Cloud definitely seems to show more skills than Lacy.
He could be exactly that the light heavyweight division needs, but we'll see...

 

I can't help but think of the buzz he could've built for himself if his camp didn't choose to sit on his mandatory status doing nothing. The Gonzalez fight was a fine performance, and a couple more convincing KO wins in the mean time would've done nothing but make him sharper, increase his name profile, and make him more cash. Even though I like Tavoris, I lost a little respect for his team when they essentially ducked Chad Dawson into vacating his title by declining to put Cloud on HBO to build the fight.

I hope he's more active once he has the belt.
