[yt]krhvAlMto_0[/yt] Not too sharp but still, only the start of training camp. Hopefully he gets some sharper sparring partners.
Why does it sound like a reality show? He's such a drama queen for a boxer. They turn a tiny cut on his hand into a 5 minute segment, sounding like the biggest deal a boxer has ever faced, complete with 'triumphant' music when they realised it's not a serious problem. It's pathetic. I mean when you watch **** like this it's no surprise that people call him an emo ***.
he threw some good combinations there he should do that more often. Donaire is good but he looks for one punch too often. If he let his hands go he'd be a beast.
"5 weeks of training" That seems awfully short to me. --- Jesus man, I was in a back and forth with some holier-than-thou poster who was insisting that EVERY fighter has AT LEAST a 10 week camp. He was serious. He didn't even say "all elite level guys" or "8+" the dude insisted that every single fighter has a 10 week training camp. I asked the other posters to simply back me up on this and they wouldn't stake their claim. Hm... Some people, as they say, DKSAB.
The one punch at a time trend didn't start until after the Montiel KO. It has more to do with the way his opponents approach him than him losing effectiveness or being unwilling, in my opinion.
It's ironic, on a boxing forum, how many indeed don't know ****. They're usually the ones crowing the loudest too. The average camp is 8 to 10 weeks, but there's nothing to be said that it's set in stone. JMM's camp for Pacquiao 4 was 4 months long.
The way i see it he's tryin to be a little too fancy and land that one killer counter shot . Think he just needs to get back the basics and let his hands go. He looks like beast any time he does that , he just doesnt pull the trigger enough.
I noticed at the press conf in NY that he has some weight to lose,it's really a short time for conditioning and sparring.
Depends on the situation. Donaire fought as recently as December, so hes hardly had time to get out of shape.
Apperantly not, since rumor has it that Arce is making a comeback. In all honesty, Jorge should have retired after the Vazquez bout.
