    I don't consider Donaire a "prospect" anymore... He's a 2 division champion, Ring Mag's #7 P4P boxer and Ring Mag's #10 Jr. Bantam (115 lbs.) boxer...

He went up in weight to fight a guy who was at least one weight class higher than he should have been. Who knows how heavy he actually was on the night. Donaire shouldn't have fought him, but he did and was forced to run to win. Had the guy not missed the weight by 4 pounds, we'd have seen a different fight. Can't blame Donaire for not wanting to engage with someone so much heavier.

Penalosa told SportsNews.ph that Concepcion’s supposed cheating did not end after he weighed 4 ½ pounds over the super flyweight limit of 115lbs.

He said Concepcion reportedly refused to wear a pair of 10-once gloves mandated for fighters who failed to make weight. The Panamanian’s camp reportedly threatened to pull out from the fight if their boxer is not allowed to use 8-ounce gloves. Donaire reluctantly agreed.

Shows opponets like to evade Nonito, Montiel postponing the bout and end up backing out. And Rafael trying to cheat on the weight and gloves.

If Donaire gets criticized for this win then don't consider Casamayor's third fight with Corrales as impressive either. Or anyone who fails to impressively win against opponents who outweight them by at least two divisions by fight time.

What the hell were these people thinking?

    :rofl

Still need to catch a replay, but it does seem like Nonito has trouble consistently bringing his A game for lesser opponents. He looked pretty crappy against Mthalane, then he makes Martinez look like a weekend warrior, and now this. But a win is a win.

Nonito fought and had soundly beaten a 134 lb fighter in a superflyweight fight yet you called him fraud?:huh Do you really mean what you had posted dude?
