Donaire did enough to win the fight against an opponent who was way above the weight limit. He should have taken this fight but he fought it nevertheless to win the interim title.

    Bring on Darchi or Montiel.

No. The fact that he won ten rounds out of 12 means he is an excellent boxer ready for anyone in superfly or in bantamweight division.

El Torito Concepcion is the stronger, busier boxer throwing a lot of punches but Donaire is the more accurate one, throwing less BUT landing more...

Donaire did well, only that El Torito is one tough strong boxer (partly because El Torito didn't try to make weight!!)...

    On whose scorecard?!!!
Come on dude, it shouldn't have anywhere near as close as it was. Sure we know who won but this guy is ranked #7 on Ring Mags P4P list. Would Torito be in the top 500?
    The answer is probably not.
When Nonito drops his ring arrogance and learns some ring generalship, he might become something special.

Dude you make it sound that El Torito is a total bum... El Torito gave Arce one hell of a fight and he outlasted AJ Banal... I think El Torito is ranked just outside the Top 10 at super fly... Anywhere from 11 to 15 spot...

Plus the fact that El Torito weigh-in as a super bantam boxer for this super fly fight...

I agree with you tho that Donaire needs to correct several things like his showboating and heavy reliance on his superior speed...

I'm not the TS, go back and read. I'm aware of the weight discrepancy. Thanks.

His opponent came in at weigh in 4.5 pounds over the limit. Nonito is practically fighting a fighter in a featherwegiht division. He needed not fight him but he did and he gave a boxing clinic. What else do you want? Boxing is not about knocking out your opponents. That's why it's called sweet science. Otherwise, I advise that you watch MMA.

You can't drop a boxer who keeps on winning from the P4P list... Let's see if Ring Magazine will drop Nonito Donaire from its P4P list...;)

Thats whats not sweet science, He beat a limited brawler with limited experience by a CLOSE decision, do not confuse sweet science with **** poor performance. By the weigth Donaire is not a flyweight either both are featherweights fighting smaller mens.

It was a lopsided fight. Correction. Nonito won 10 out of 12 rounds. This fight was for an interim title. Concepcion is a worthy contender for knocking out the likes of AJ Banal.

El Torito is a strong and young fighter. He also looked comfortable with not having to make the weight.

Bro, you call running away, getting tagged by jabs and rights from a lower tier fighter the sweet science?
Nonito fought stupid and got hurt bad numerous times. The topic was that Nonito is a fraud which I disagree.
Although I might agree that he may have been overrated in the past.
    Even by me.
You want to jump down my throat?
Whatever dude. Your bias is apparent.

You are out of your mind.
Take off the filipino colored sunglasses and make an attempt to be objective.
