Donaire fans say how great he is but don't want him to prove it.

I will be so angry if this fight happens.

I want Mares/Rig, then Donaire to move up and kick ass.

Arum is just going to do the usual...just bleed his fighters dry with money by making them fight easy fights, then when they're shot, their reputation will be talked up and there will be a big fight, or none at all.

Would prefer to see Darchinyan/ Mijares II instead of this rematch

Donaire needs to be fighting the likes of Mares & Rigondeaux

    I don't believe that.

I'm saying that if those who claim Donaire IS ducking and don't think that every other fighter on the planet who isn't facing the top one or two contenders ISN'T ducking, then they are inconsistent and pretty stupid.

    What?

He already beat the consensus #1 guy at 122.

He's already proven he is one of the finest fighters there is.

I'd prefer your scenario as well.

But if you follow boxing to any degree remotely, you know that no one ever faces the best possible opponent every time out.

Agreed but Donaire just fought Arce, so I'd expect him to step up again

I would agree IF he hadn't fought 4 times in the 2012 calendar year. Including the #1, two top 10's, and an aged but very well known "p4p type" guy.

I hope and expect him to face Rigondeaux, Mares, or a top featherweight by years' end.

These posters just don't follow boxing and clearly live in dream worlds where if the best available opponent isn't fought every time out, then the fighter is ducking, a coward, it's all his fault, he sucks. It's ridiculous.

  8. It's really irrelevant, while Darchinyan doesn't really stand much of a chance of beating Donaire.....

    NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Neither does Rigondeaux

Plus Vic has beaten elite opposition in the last couple of years in Perez who's better than Rigo has ever fought and he's also beat Del Valle who's was an undefeated prospect and better than any prospects Rigo has beat so deserves it more.

  9. Wouldn't say that, I would say that saying Donaire is ducking Rigondeaux is akin to saying Floyd Mayweather is ducking Keith Thurman or Wladimir Klitschko is ducking Dentony Wilder.

If this fight goes down his last 3 fights will be against Darchiniyan, Arce and Nishioka. I think people get confused with Donaire his fans say he will become a legend, he's 30 it's now or never. Mares and Rigo need to happen and he needs to move up. Let's be honest he could fight a one armed midget and his fans wouldn't care as they are basically *******s but if this fight happens please take him off p4p lists.

the fact u think that arce is a "p4p guy" and that the chino was #1 is what really is ridiculous.

u cant think clearly cause u got norigo **** in your nasal passage

  13. I didn't watch it all, I've seen the Matebula fight so I fast forwarded it to 7.25 when I heard this comment:

"After 6 rounds Navarez was winning the damn fight....he was completly out-boxing Donaire"

    :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

120-108 Donaire on all 3 cards. I refuse to listen to anymore of that as it would make me stupider.
