Peterson came to fight and had a game plan. Khan only had a plan A and when that failed him he had nothing else to get him through. When they rematch Peterson will win a UD. Will be easier for Peterson. Khan is not going to go back and work on his inside game or foot work, and neither will Roach. They will train the same way and work on Khan's strengths. Take away Khans hand speed and what do you have? "Skills win fights" Roger Mayweather:lol: You know who has the most skills out of Khan and Peterson?:think

8-4 Peterson in the rematch. :deal

It was a good fight, Peterson fought well and Khan did as well. Would love to see a re-match!

The ref keyed in on his pet peeves. Just like Nady, Bayless, Smoger...I think he did a fair job.

They both came to fight and it was a good one. Rematch will be easier for Peterson though and he will go for the knockout.

The ref was completely fair. He could have even DQd Khan for constant fouling and refusing to fight.

I didn't like the deductions. No doubt Khan was excessive with the holding/jumping on the head, but we've seen worse.

I don't blame the ref for the first point deduction but the second one was bad. You just can't take away a point in the last round of a close fight like that.

I wonder if Khan will learn how to fight on the inside by the time of the rematch. Honestly, I thought Khan was a more skillful fighter until last night. He doesn't seem to have the ability to adapt.

I think Khan would be the same if they fought again, he simply doesn't have the single shot power to keep any top 140 fighter from walking in on him, plus he isn't going to develop an inside fighter mentality or skill set in one camp.

I think the bogus knockdown made Peterson stop trying to set traps for Khan when he lunged in, take that away and the fight would be different as well. HBO also ignored a lot of hard left hands Peterson dropped on Khan upstairs.

that's prob what Khan was thinking too!

good result -khan's views after the fight showed him for what he is, classless and very immature.

check his twitter account - all his build-up before the fight - then complete silence afterwards. Khan is someone who is unable to deal with not getting what he wants.

the UK media haven't helped him [personality-wise] by the biased-support over the years.

Hamed was loved hated in the past, but at least he was entertaining with it. Khan isn't.

    end.

Seriously man. Only a completely biased ref favoring his hometown fighter would have done such a thing. That poor *******.

Read thru the whole thread so far, and... yup, still blame the ref.

Poor showing from him. It's a championship fight, at least give him a stern warning, let him know you're gonna take a point before you do it.

I have no problem with Peterson winning, I like the guy too. Wish he could have done it without the ref's intervention. Sours it a bit for me.

Didn't like the ref, don't blame him for deductions as he warned Khan a million times.

He was trash with not seperating the fighters after they clinched though. Never seen a ref officiate like that in a title fight. Clearly inexperienced.
