Topic has been covered before probably, sorryy!
But... anyone know any good ones? Things using weights or plyometrics etc.
More speed than power would be helpful as I'm happy with my power :)
    Thanks!

For speed with weights, I guess shadow box with the dumbells in your hands.

Power and the perception of power comes more from technique and timing.

You can try push ups. It helps with explosiveness and it also helps you build a little strength too.

Another one is when you shadow box, practice throwing very fast punches from time to time. That should at least help you build some work on speed

Speed comes from technique. Technique comes from constant practice. So shadow box, hit the bag, spar. Focus on getting your technique right, not go as fast as you can and develop bad habits.

For assistance, get Ross Enamait's book called "Never Gymless" and check out the plyometrics / explosive stuff :)

Outside of the obvious technique, I'd say mix some sprints in to your running.. You will be surprised at the difference in your over all energy level.

But the biggest thing with speed as well as power is technique of course.
