In the year 2026 ,staying active is considered an insane run.

Beating Hrgovic and Joshua is hardly an "insane" run.

    lmao

The Hrgovic win isn’t legit at all but other than that yeah it was a good run.

He definately had a nice run, if he manages to beat Wardley today I might rate him as the best non lineal HW since Povetkin. He'd be in the Povetkin, Tua type class for me if he wins today. Although I think both beat him h2h.

feel after the lose to joyce and the way he lost made him take on any comer to get a bit of respect back and after the 1st usyk fight - wish more fighters would lose early on so they stop protecting the 0's

No denying that Dubois had a good run but every fighter has his ceiling,Dubois is your typical big strong, powerful but predictable Heavyweight and is very much an on top fighter (Joyce loss aside can’t hold that against him imo) who has lost twice to Usyk but it was the manner in which he lost that people hold against him. Can Wardley put him in that same frame of mind or will Dubois be able to overcome Wardley before it gets to that point, that’s what makes this fight tonight so interesting for me. May the best man win without any controversy .

He's incredibly overpromoted and gets unlimited title shots despite 3 KO losses and his questionable officiating against Lerena.

Ok so name 10 HW in the past 20 years who had a better run and name their wins.

Absolutely. He's SO overhyped despite his OBVIOUSLY shaky chin. As others have said, he's a modern day Frank Bruno - except Bruno could take a better punch! Dumbo has pure china in that mandible:

If we are allowed to delete an early loss and pretend they never met Usyk then Joshua has a far better run than Dubois.

    Klitchsko
    Takem
    Parker
    Povetkin
(We get to ignore the Ruiz loss, similar to ignoring Joyce for Dubois)
    Andy Ruiz
    Pulev
(We pretend he never ran into Usyk, similar to Dubois)
    Franklin
    Helenius
    Wallin

    Fallacy of relative privation

It doesn't matter what anyone has done or does, beating Hrgovic and Joshua isn't an "insane run".

Joshua is 8 years older than Dubois, of course he has more wins. But Dubois' top wins are right there with Joshua's: Miller is better than an untrained Andy Ruiz, Hrgovic is better than Parker or Whyte, and Joshua himself beat old Wlad and old Povetkin. Dubois also has one fewer loss as it stands, so if he beats Wardley today it will close the gap further. Wardley is at least on par with Parker or Whyte.
