The most knowledgable poster on ESB.. a very egotistical voyage ..

I just didn't see the point.. its not a competition , its a forum, where we are supposed to share our views and experiences and maybee gain some new knowledge from others.. God Bless..

Excuse me, I don't understand that first comment. I have never said I am the most knowledgable poster on the site. I do, however, generally try to put rational into my posts. I admit recently I have given up with that some what because it seems a pointless exercise on here when every thread gets ruined by fanboys having their obligatory bun fight.

As for the last bit it just appears to me that most of the forum is filled with childish bickering interspersed with the occasional rational debate. The lack of moderation on this forum seriously hinders it in my opinion.

Dan, some of your comments are unnecessary.

You appear on threads where Hopkins has talked about his upcoming fight with Calzaghe and start questioning why people are mentioning Calzaghe.....well duuurrr.

I seem to recall you making unnecessary comments, like this one, on numerous occasions. Would you like me to pick some out?

    Yes, please.

But can you not see why people may mention Calzaghe in a thread which contains an interview, in which Hopkins discusses his upcoming opponent Calzaghe...?

**SIGH** The point was every thread like that merely becomes a communial dick licking session for Calzaghe fanboys. Do you not see that or maybe you enjoy reading about how great he is. Constantly.

In a thread about Hopkins, Calzaghe's name will be mentioned a lot and people will praise Calzaghe.

Don't read threads with Calzaghe or Hopkins in the title, it's that simple.

No. I should be free to discuss Hopkins without Calzaghe fanatics chiming in with their moronic congratulatory remarks. Not only that but they are incredibly disrespectful towards Hopkins & were it the other way around there would be widespread outrage across the board.

You come across as being as bad as the Calzaghe fanatics.

From what I've seen, you refuse to criticise anything Hopkins says or does.

And in threads you openly goad the Calzaghe fans by saying stuff such as 'Even Calzaghe fanatics can't find fault with that' (Paraphrasing)

    Stay out of this you.;)

Wrong, definitely wrong & maybe slightly right with the last bit but I was merely anticipating the inevitable. Look how that thread turned out. Kids.

In fact i didn't know who started the post... I was blind to that and didn't expect anyone to feel guilty for starting the post.. My point was Boxing is the forums aim... Not best poster...

If you feel obliged to explain why you started the post ok , but that wasn't my aim..

    God Bless...

It may be the forums aim but in reality it's mainly a place where people bicker & also seems to have become a Calzaghe fan site.

Mate, these things go round in cycles

Joe is the man of the moment right now. He gets a lot of attention because firstly we've always said he deserved recognition and he's finally getting it, and secondly there is a huge fight coming up

I think you'll find when this fight is done and dusted, and if Mayweather vs Cotto was made, the respective dickriders (PBF's especially) would be out in force

Things will calm down, unfortunately it's a good few months (and 2 weeks of post fight analysis) away ;)
