Duran, the greatest lightweight champion of all time. He went 15 rounds with Hagler and almost won! He beat the crap out of Iran Barkley would knocked Hearns out. Not to mention so many others. It's a shame that Duran did not always train and partied way too much. Great fighter. He had Ray Arcel and Freddie Brown in his corner!
I don't really think he got so close to beating Hagler but yeah he was great. Had too many losses to be an ATG. Floyd would beat him pretty easy, how would Duran get past that beautiful Money May defense? Plus Mayweather has the better punch and the better chin.
Would you bet the Lightweight version of Floyd over Duran. I think at that weight Duran could pull it off......at welterweight however I would lean towards Floyd. Of the big 4 I would favor Hearns the most to clearly defeat mayweather.
