JMM, MAB and EM were past their primes. EM was weight-drained fatigued when he lost 2x to Pac. EM lost those 2 fights at the scales before the fight. JMM, MAB and EM's primes were 1999-2002. Pac was lucky to have fought them, when they were already in decline.
As well as Rogar Leonard after he fought Sugar Ray. He also KO'ed Pedro Mendoza's wife after she jumped in the ring after seeing her man get KO'ed in the 1st. What a guy
Of his 106 wins, 70 were by knockout spanning in what today would be 5 weight classes. That's pretty good power in my opinion. Pac also has fantastic power, I'm not taking that away from him. I'd just give the edge to Duran. It'll be interesting to see what his KO % would have been if his middleweight fights were not taken into consideration (he was too small for MW IMO).
Kind of like how Pac is too small for Welter? Have you looked at Duran's record? His first 25-30 KO's were all cab drivers from Panama.
If you watch Pac's top 5 performances, and compare them to Duran's top 5, Leonard's top 5, there is no ****ing comparison. Pac is so overrated is unbelievable. The one thing that makes Pac great is that he fought in an ERA where there were no Prime Leonard, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Chavez, Morales, Duran, Sanchez, Forrest, Winky, etc.... The closest fighter today to the names mentioned above is Mayweather, and most feel he would lose to a prime version of most of the top names of the 80's and 90's, so that tells you how weak this era is.
