i think the wildcard in that was floyd sr. no one expected floyd to come into that fight with the mobility he displayed.

has this dude been off on other fights?

Picked Margarito against Pacquiao, Foreman against Cotto, Mayorga against Cotto, Margarito against Cotto, Peterson against Mathysse, Trout against Canelo, Maidana against Khan, Johnson against Froch...

Of course it's a mismatch

Canelo couldn't put away Ricky Hatton's underachieving brother 'Magic' Matthew Hatton in 12, who has 7 defeats on his record and is fighting in Small Halls.

His chances of beating Floyd are almost non existent.

But I'll still watch it and it is an exciting fight!

so Canelo is a fraud because he was weight drained and couldn't stop an iron chinned dude who has lasted the distance against every opponent he's ever faced. ok

He makes good observations, but dwells on minor points and often does a one-sided analysis, focusing on one fighter's flaws and mentioning none of his strengths. His analysis for Mathysse-Peterson was **** poor, and he tried to come back and give a **** justifictation by proclaiming that Peterson won the first round, and exposed Mathysse for being limited and not being able to deal with movement :patsch

it's funny to me whenever ppl do predictions because unless you know exactly what's going on in either camp...it's pretty much just speculation. i try to weigh all factors on both sides based off of what i've seen from both and ultimately how they look going into the fight.

for example: floyd had not used much movement in his last few fights before guerrero...therefore, it was safe to assume that he would sit in front of guerrero for their bout. guerrero in his last few bouts seemed to relish fighting on the inside and would throw freely..especially to the body...so it seemed like a given that both would be fighting in the trenches. hindsite is 20/20. floyd said he would fight guerrero in toe to toe. i believed that. i just didn't think he would start out using the beautiful foot work he displayed in that bout. it wasn't excessive....and ppl who think he was running clearly don't understand what it is he did. he gave movement just enough to establish the pattern of hit and not get hit. he showed guerrero that he was faster and slicker and kept him guessing so that when he finally decided to give guerrero what he wanted...toe to toe...guerrero was frozen in doubt and didn't throw freely.

who here....or anywhere, predicted that floyd would use that footwork? no one that i can recall. so dwyer being off on that one isn't such a bad thing.

i give the guy credit for going on record with his analysis and predictions. he openly states that they're his opinions and ppl can take or leave them. i'd like to see how anyone else stacks up to him. no one gets them right all the time. there are always factors that cannot be accounted for prior.

Anyone can get predictions wrong, that's not what it's about. It's about being unable to weigh the factors evenly and ignoring them post-fight. It's shameful the way he tried to justify his pick of Peterson and went on to discredit Lucas without ever commending the way he set up his shots. On top of it all, despite his "complete stranger online" disclaimer, he's being paid to give gambling advice.

Me personally and a bunch of other people here have a better track record than Dwyer. I am sure of it. I constantly pick the opposite opponent and come out right.

This makes me think Canelo might pull the upset now! LOL

Dwyer is often wrong.. Sometimes I think he gives a false prediction to get money on the side he's betting against!

Canelo won't be easy and it will be a close fight as long as Canelo don't get tired like he did in the trout fight
