I really don't think so. I think current Silva destroys Saku prime or no. He was insanely tough and was a great fighter but not on current Silva's sort of level

 

Saku did have the groundfighting ability and uncanny knack for getting people on the mat, though...

 

Not me ,

Shogun with a better engine , agility , mobility , stamina etc would present Jones some big problems that most strikers would not , i.e. his sweep from bottom and his stand up ability

Dont get me wrong im not saying he would beat him definitively here , im saying there's a good chance he'd give Jones a hand full , until Jones came along the old version of Shogun was the best 205 lb fighter ever to have graced MMA (skill set) , and lets not forget , he has been the UFC champion even in his depleated state of today

 

Then cuts down to 205 and KOs Jones as well. :good

Oh don't get me wrong, I also believe that 'healthy/prime/whatever Shogun' would definitely present Jones some big problems and he would definitely give Jones a handful, and Jones would still beat him.
