Just checked on boxrec and it appears that the Stephen Smith fight is no longer on and also the Kal Yafai bout has gone. Anyone know what has happened there?

Turning into a bit of a shambles now. Was really looking forward to it, looking a bit grim now with these 2 gone, no opponents for a couple of fighters and also Dodson pulling out!

Got tickets for this, the names on there just about made up for the utter lack of 50-50 fights, can't believe we still have tba's with under 2 weeks to go. Lack of Smith in what looked like one of the only competitive fights of the night and Yafai is very disappointed!

I was looking forward to the Smith fight too. The best fight on the card for me. Very dissapointed.

I heard a rumor from lads on another thread that Paul Smith is out as well, but i'm not sure as he's still on Boxrec to fight??

I know the board didn't sanction Paul Smiths fight against Tobias Webb for the British title and his opponents is now TBA. The same with Rocky Fielding his opponent is still TBA.
Well why cant Hearn match Paul Smith-Rocky Fielding for a British and Commonwealth unification fight?
I suppose it's too much to ask seeing as Hearn wants to squeeze more juice out of it for another bill.

I love how Hearn clearly doesn't give a single **** about this show, i know hes had some big announcements recently but this card is only 2 weeks away and we still have opponents TBA and no replacements for the stephen smith fight.

Spot on Ryan. With fighters pulling out Hearn should give the fans value and have Smith Vs Fielding.

F*cking hell Hearn must have dug him up! Adamu was tough in his day, but he's finished now.

It's embarrassing having 3 super-middleweights on the same bill and none of them are facing each other.

Paul Smith vs Rocky Fielding should be the main-event.

This card shouldn't be called "Mersey Beat" It should be "Mersey Mismatches".

Totally agree. Why on earth are one of the Smiths not fighting Feilding? It will bring a bit of interest and publicity to what is an otherwise terrible card and if it's a half decent fight they both make twice as much from a rematch in the summer. Does fast car come on here?

It's prizefighting leather face. It's all about the money. Being fair Fielding v Smith could headline its own card at the echo
