Chambers career is a joke. He failed to sign with a big promoter.

I'm usually right around 9.5, baseline.

    ...and it's "least nearest".

Further is metaphorical, like "you couldn't be FURTHER from the truth."

Farther is a measure of distance, "You couldn't be FARTHER from the door."

Eddie should be allowed to do what he wants with his career/life. I don't know if these types of fights are helping him climb back up the rankings though.

When Chambers first started his current run against no hopers it made sense. He hadn't won a fight in 3 years so picking up a couple easy wins is what you would have expected him to do. 5 seemed like a lot but atleast he was being very active.

Then he took almost a year off right when he should have been lining up a major fight. Making all those comeback/tuneup fights almost meaningless.

He's with Haymon now who has a lot of heavyweights on his roster. Hopefully this is one last tune up and then onto one of Haymon's bigger named heavyweights.

Eddie is a seasoned guy, there is no point in these type of outings, gym wars are more effective than these walkovers. It's insane that Epifanio is a HW. I remember him murking Tokumbo Olajide at JMW. :patsch

    What lesson? Underestimating his opponent?
    Chambers belongs at CW.

Chambers is a Crusierweight, he's short, 6'0 tall, looks fat at heavyweight and for Klitschko came in at like 210lbs.

The KO he suffered at the hands of Fury (Hughie) in sparring was a pretty bad one by all accounts and it appears to have robbed him of his self-confidence. That said, there was no need for him to drop down the level of competition to that degree or for this amount of time. He's been fighting Ugandan park rangers and Slovakian zoo volunteers since. His opposition is almost as bad as the stiffs Wilder has been feasting on.

    From the13thround:

    ROUND 1
In round 1 Chambers connected lots of flush shots ... mainly the left hook and also combos when Galen stayed in the corner and Chambers let his hands go. Galen made LOTS of ****y moves, he talked to chambers, showed his tongue... Galen loves his job because he smiled all along lol

I think He might be trying to get Chambers out of his gameplan of not taking risks... he is ****ing off Chambers who loads up a little more which gives Galen counter opportunities...

Galen even hit Chambers from the break with a tiny jab just to taunt him lol

    Round 2
With 30 seconds left in round 2, Chambers dropped Galen after pressuring him in the ropes and landing a combo with a big right behind the head of Galen who was facing down holding the ropes. Chambers then resumed with some flush shots but Galen survived the 2nd round. Galen still smiling but i think this round will make him respect Chambers a little more

    Round 3
With 2 minutes left, Chambers pressured Galen in the ropes and opened up... Galen was still up and the ref stepped in for a standing 8... right after Chambers dropped galen for the win
