I believe it was Ed Derian who used to introduce Scott for his NBC TV fights; Great Scott Super Scott James Scott!!! He was one of the best body punchers I’ve ever seen and hard as a rock.
James Scott bullied Eddie Mustafa Muhammad all round the ring, in a pretty one sided lackluster affair. Another disappointing lazy effort from the talented Mustafa Muhammad.
Goes to show that in all walks of life, talent is cheap. Without drive and determination it’s just a waste. Many less talented fighters have accomplished much more on grit, willpower and dedication. Those things are also gifts, but they are gifts attainable to anyone.
