Yup He needs to invest in new fighters and push their public profile. Relying on existing fanbases is complacency and ultimately the demise of many companies
I know triangle theories do not prove anything in boxing, but my original argument still stands. Joshua was poor in victory against a 40 year old Helenius who got a gift decision against Chisora THIRTEEN years ago. Wilder and Fury turn Joshua into a gone off protein shake.
sure he doesn’t that’s why you run a multimillion dollar business and he is posting on boxing forum about you.
While his UK competition consists of Ben Shalom and Frank Warren he has nothing to worry about, if any of them don't understand business (specifically Boxing) its Shalom, how can you pull 2 fighters out of life changing opportunities because there is a chance you will lose the purse bid and you wont be getting it on Sky? Until he gets away from in house fights or fights against fighters without promoters then he wont be able to grow and will eventually be gazumped by the other 2 or someone else who can come along and do a Sky deal....... Ahhhhemmmm Mr Jordan.
Fast Eddie is good at what he does I suppose. I just wish he'd stop inserting his fugly mug in the fighters stare downs. I don't believe he's earned the honor to be there. His health isn't on the line and his presence makes the stare down more farcical than it already is.
Hearn's attempted US expansion has ended in complete failure: Canelo is secured with PBC for 3 fights, so the earliest he'll be available again is 2025 Hearn couldn't deliver big fights for Haney so lost him Joshua is his only star, but he got smacked around by Fat Andy in his first overseas fight, and he's about to get KTFO'd by Wilder and sent into irrelevancy It's all falling apart fast for Fast Eddie

100%. It actually went worse for Joshua than most of us expected it to: Joshua got busted up by a heavy hitter (not many AJ opponents have damaged him more, at least visually and those were just jabs), which adds physical and mental miles and he took 6-7x as long to get rid of an older, more worn Helenius than Wilder did. It's an atrocious visual that damaged Joshua's stock and will have further hurt his confidence, just as Wilder's KO1 over Breazeale did by his own admission just before the Ruiz beatdown. They should have given Joshua the Washington fight and had Chisora rematch Helenius. If Joshua had got rid of Washington inside 4 rounds (quite likely) then it probably would have looked ok and it would have built Joshua's confidence to some degree. Chisora may have got KO'd but who cares. I say it's probably Yoka next but knowing Hearn they'll choose someone like Kabayel who'll take Joshua the distance and give him problems.
