A very good read and a reality check to the economics of running a decent show. PPV is the future, whether we like it or not. It will be interesting to see how Matchroom develop in the next few years, they have the commercial strength and longstanding expertise in running shows - now they have energetic new Head of boxing, who is definitely a chip off the old block. As far as the new entrants to boxing promotion, Eddie Hearn seems like he will be good for the sport, at least he understands it and has a passion for boxing.
which month is it for?? Hearn does seem to have the fire for boxing right now but the same thing happend with his Dad who fell out of love with the Sport a long time ago.
Yeah, this months edition. Also, an expert poll of over 30 UK trainers on who they would choose in the Groves-Degale fight - which is another good read.
Only about one of the trainers went with Groves, the rest said Degale. I will let you read the Hearn interview yourself, it normally hits the stores a couple of days after the subscribers receive their copy.
