AJ is quickly closing in on mandatory spots for Fury. Assuming he beats Wlad in the rematch, he'll have a lot of tough challenges on his plate, AJ being the biggest.
I think Hearn will be delighted with this. One I cant see why he wouldn't support Fury as he has said many a time that he hopes he wins, then the fact that it brings everything to the UK which is exactly where he would want it for the AJ fight. Basically perfect for Hearn.
Mick was in full on war mode last night- taking pot shots at Vitali, Haye and ITV in iFL videos. The worry is if he can't deliver a big fight for Fury on his return- I never understand why Channel 5 don't pay big rights fees. Another worry is if Vlad from Russia decides to interject himself at the purse bids stage again. I can see the belts being broken up because of the sheer amount of mandatoriest hat need to be fought. As for Hearn, he needs to get Joshua into a position where he can challenge for a World Title in 2017, he's only at British Title level (in factual terms) at the moment.
I think wazza will be more gutted!! Just think Boxnation could of had the Heavyweight Champion of the World But he ****ed up.
Why, it is the best thing for hearn, aj v fury. That fight is a million plus ppv fight and fill a soccer stadium, it is a 30 million pound fight. Music to fury ears if you ask me, he would make 10 million plus for that fight.
I thought Eddie Hearn is the main man for Sky which means everything that goes on Sky Sports boxing has to go through him?? If so I'm sure Mr Hearn is buzzing at the thought of ticket sales & ppv for Fury Vs AJ
I didn't buy Fury Vs Klitschko and I won't be buying Whyte Vs Joshua. I'm not staying home and just buying these cards anymore without a solid undercard, Whyte Vs Joshua is a fight I want to see but I'll go out and watch it because the rest of the card is a pigdog. Fury Klitschko didn't do great numbers from what I can tell and I don't think Joshua Whyte will either because when people like me who normally buys any old rubbish starts refusing to pay for British title fights I'm sure many others are too.
