Bute's trainer said in the interview after the fight that the ref was a bit slow in stopping the fight. In fact that ref was a ****in clown last night, constantly trying to get a bit of camera time with his fussing over the fighters. Eddie was hilarious when he realised the fight wasnt over, man his Essex ass exploded there and then. Still, gotta love Eddie Hearn - he loves boxing and I think he is going to be the biggest promoter in the UK for years to come.
The referee was an absolute fucking disgrace :rofl :rofl atsch Bute was hugging Froch like Froch was his first born baby child, on a number of occasions, and the ref did not say anything to Bute for holding. For the stoppage, he either waved off the fight then changed his mind or simply has no idea how to administer an count atsch . Wasn't he the same ref from Bute/Andrade 1 ? either way he looked like he was trying to carry Bute through the fight at times but of course it wasn't the last round and he couldn't help him for 12 full rounds when Bute was so badly hurt very early on. Amazing performance from Carl Froch, career best imo for just smashing the most hyped up fighter in the history of the 168lb division. I thought Hearn's reaction was hilarious, why people gotta get on their high horse over it? his friend won in incredible fashion and they also both make a sh!t loada money off of it, he's entitled to celebrate.
Eddie's celebration was nothing compared to mine, I ran around my front room screaming like a little girl and then Karate kicked 12 empty beer cans everywhere I think at one point I tried to do a cartwheel and broke a chair, ****ing amazing.
In that shot the ref is waving the fight off, its done, no count required....thats why Hearn dived in the ring. If he was going to give Bute a count he would have shouted "stop boxing" and got between the fighters

Hearn was an idiot, if the fight was America or Canada it would have been a DQ win. He could have cost Froch the best win of his career. Lucky Bute's team didn't want any more of it and his coach went in as well to tell the ref to stop it... Isn't there someone in the corner telling them when the fight's over?
