The Cracken wasn't happy. Watch the footage again. He's pointing a shouting at Hearn to get out of the ring?

I like Rob allot, top guy. He's no **** like some of the other British trainers. Class team all round

Everyone who had anything to do with Froch was emotional at the time. Froch's corner weren't stupid enough to not jump in the ring, I'm sure they were emotional too. My heart was in my mouth when I saw Hearn running around like an idiot in the ring with the ref counting in the background. Luckily the ref was so incompetent he probably didn't know the rules.

He wasn't his "mate" that night, he was his promoter and should have acted professionally. Idiot needs to stick to darts if he's going to act like that.

    Avitt!
Cant believe theres a thread about this.
All the explanations have already been given.

You could see Frochs eyes welling up when he made his entrance.
He knew there and then he was going to give the best performance of his life.
I can imagine you nearly busterbloodvessel watching last night Bill.
All U.K fight fans were treated.

The ref waved it off and then proceeded to do a count, it would have been very harsh to pin the blame on Eddie after the refs indecision.

Jared is right. Under different circumstances Hearn could have potentially ****ed things up. I notice Bute's corner were also on the ring apron. My initial reaction was "what the **** is he doing!?!!!??!?". The ref also is culpable as he motioned as if the fight was off. You didn't see McCracken jump in there, thankfully. Although I bet he thought about getting in there himself to launch Hearn over the top rope back into his seat.

The ref was a clown in alot of areas but I thought he was good in letting it go on when Bute was getting pasted up against the ropes in rounds 2, 3, 4. Alot of British refs would've stopped that in the 2nd or 3rd round. The ref rightfully gave Bute a real chance to try and soak up the pressure and see if he could turn the tables.

Eddie Hearn tweeted that it was the best night of his life. That is some statement to make. Obviously, from what both he and Froch has said, they are very close friends. Froch put in an almighty performance, against the odds and in the presence of 9,000 screaming fans. I, for one, can't blame the guy for getting a bit over excited. Foolish? perhaps. Over the top in the circumstances? Not in my book.

The ref was very bad last night. The last few rounds Bute was offering nothing and was only holding...he had to be physically pulled from Froch. If a fighter is going to be like that he should have been stopped or at least warned. Then there was the stupid hand gesture before he started the count...

That's the third or forth British fight in a row where I've seen poor refereeing. When did it become so difficult to ref?
