Machen clear decision. To good a boxer for Tua although Tua always has that punchers chance.

I would favor Machen to win on points.

Well, what about Machen going 12 with Liston?

When Joe Frazier stopped Eddie Machen in 10 rounds, Machen was past his prime, a stepping stone. On Sept 7 1960, Eddie went 12 rounds with prime Sonny Liston. Tua never won a title.

TBF Machen never won a title that I recall either? Seems to me we are talking a similar level. TBH I could see either guy winning this. Forced to choose I go Tua, but not with any confidence.

On the subject of either winning a title, true.

A large reason Tua was often outboxed was because of the height and reach disadvantages that he doesn't really suffer here. He also has weight/strength/power advantages. For these reasons I can't see Machen keeping Tua off him for too long. I see a KO for Tua in the first 2 rounds.

Ingos chin is irrelevant, what is relevant is his bingo that thing was legendary in how lethal it was, he landed on Machens off switch perfectly.

You must not forget such a thing never happened again it was one of these odd events in boxing.

Eddie was proven to be durable against the likes of Joe Frazier and Sonny it reminds me of how Emile was KO'd in such a bizarre way by a crude Rubin yet he hung tough with Monzon twice.

Tua was as crude as they came how do you see him managing the boxing portion of the fight where Eddie would very well dominate do you think his strength in the clinch and power is really enough?

Tua by KO. Machen has very little chance. He was neither near the boxer that Byrd was nor the specimen that Lewis and Ike were.

    KO and KO early.

    Let's be real.
