LSC won't come to Belfast. End of story.

    It's ridiculous you think it's a possibility.

LSC is not Mayweather, yes he's a Haymom fighter and I understand he is decently paid but if McGuigan can get enough cash together then it must be at least a possibility.

They've done 16k for Martinez - assuming Carl wins and has a unification with LSC it would probably easily do 30k + in Belfast...US tv would no doubt get involved as well so the money would be there.

The limiting factor would be more the lack of a venue in Belfast than any unwillingness on the part of LSC. Money talks. He could be tempted alright. Shame about the venue situation in "Norn Iron".

Let's suggest this is a remote possibility, please explain where the money comes from and the purses involved?

The same way it does for most fights baring the odd anonomy like Monaco or China...ticket sales, sponsorship, TV, underground money etc just because nth Ireland is a small country (assuming this was your point) doesn't mean money can't be generated especially in this tv era

I wanted you to be specific. What purses would you expect to be available? TV money?

If you've no idea, how can you even begin to entertain the idea it might happen?

In theory it could. In practice? Absolutely not and you know it.

Don't be silly- your basically asking for specific figures which is ridiculous.
What I do know is that Frampton is the money guy in the division- LSC purses are usually funded by appearing on PPV undercards of mega fights for Mayweather and Alvarez rather then his own shows generating the funds. Frampton sells out and If he wins the IBF he'll probably have to go to stadiums like Croke park to stage his fights. one of the US channels have picked up the Martinez fight today - if Mcguigan markets him right he could also become a star on the east coast of the US where there is a large Irish and British ex pat population to boot.

Let's have a rough look at the LSC situation ... nobody wants To go near Rigo, LSC is facing a bum on the mayweather card which the Americans are rightly screaming about and I very much doubt they will accept another patsy for LSC afterwards so he's going to be under pressure to go forced into a big fight plus presumably he will want the money fight..and that's Frampton who will be the IBF boss..Quigg brings no money..so where is LSC going to to go?? Up a division to get wiped put by Mares? He might come over, he might not - by LSC needs the fight as much as Carl IMO.

LSC wouldn't fight Quigg in America or here for £500k-his biggest purse to date so who is to say he would go to Belfast?

And before people mock Hearn actually trying to make fights,no one in LSC's camp had disputed any of it....funny how those same people believe everything Barry Mguigan says about his offers to Quigg though.

Frampton might get LSC if he beats Kiko but I very much doubt it would be in Norther Ireland. Santa Cruz seems to like things in his favour as does Al Haymon

LSC is under pressure, people won't accept **** fights much longer, his next fighter after the 13th will have to be someone decent, Unless he's an idiot he takes the biggest money fight they he could potentially win, That's Frampton no question, Rigondeaux sure Showtime would be interested but LSC knows he can't win that fight. What people seem to not understand is that Frampton can fight anyone and sell, you say LSC wouldn't come over, what if Frampton could offer a 50k stadium like the Aviva plus another belt on the line. LSC is not some superstar he's a good draw but if Ricky Hatton can get Tszyu to Manchester, Froch get Bute to Nottingham i'm sure it's not impossible that Frampton could get LSC to Ireland.

I didn't say it was impossible,I just don't believe it will happen. Al Haymon would be very reluctant for LSC to go to Belfast

Of course you think so,you're another who thinks Frampton rules the division. You and second have no input into LSC's career so whether or not you think he has to fight Carl next is irrelevant. Haymon will make that decision. As I say,I doubt coming to Belfast will be it.

Frampton is in the bizarre position where his local support exceeds the capacity of all local venues. The bigger venues are down south, but Frampton has never been marketed down south. He has little profile in the south.
They can't go building temporary stadiums for his fights forever, not in this climate.
He will have to fight "away" soon, IMO. Only question is -where?

The others for all their undoubted skills can't draw flies to ****, to be blunt.

LSC and Quigg badly need to raise their profile, get some fans.
