I would say yes. It's not just about whether you can weather a big shot but it's also about how you react and how you recover. Even when he's struck Edgar instinctively moves where others go into shock. Add to that how quickly he recomposes himself after a storm of punches.

    Who has a better chin?

:nut Is this a joke? So many fighters have better chins than Edgar. So many. Edgar's chin isn't especially good at all. You seem to have chin mixed up with recovery time. Because Edgar is always in amazing condition and because he has a huge heart and a strong mentality, he manages to ride out and recover when his chin lets him down. Fighters with amazing chins don't get spaghetti legs from single shots or knocked down three times in one round - their punch resistance is too good for that, whereas Edgar's evidently is not. When was the last time you saw BJ Penn or Dan Henderson breakdancing round the cage trying to avoid getting KTFO while their opponent chases them looking for the killer shot? It doesn't happen, because their chins mean that punches do not affect them in the way that punches affect Edgar. I don't think you have a clear understanding of what chin actually means, no offence.

    No.

I wouldn't even say his recovery is all that great either. Maynard is terrible at finishing. He did not increase his pace a step when Edgar was hurt.

**** no, he doesn't have the best Chin in MMA. If he did he wouldn't have been sent careening across the cage in his last two bouts by the first punch that landed cleanly. He has excellent recuperative abilities and a stout heart but Chin? No, it's clearly shaky.
