sturm is out of the question! He aint going down to 160! He needs a tune up fight and then a Bika or andrade type fight after Andrade gets his ass kicked wich he will!

I'm sure Mundine was promised a shot at Sturm. Someone 'kinda' confirmed the talks were underway. Only way that belt is coming off of Sturm anytime soon. IF Mundine can make and fight at 160.

Judah isn't a gatekeeper. He's going to be a world champ again come August 2nd. They don't call him the comeback kid from BK for nothing.

Sylvester is Sturm's mandatory. Sturm fights against Griffin and then he must face Sylvester. So I don't expect a Sturm-Mundine fight before late 2009. And it's very likely that Sturm looses one of his next 3 or 4 fights before he must face his next mandatory which could be Mundine.

Fade into Bolivion ? No he'll have to settle for GateKeeper status for the rest of his career, although he is still a very good fighter

Don't know where he will go from here, but he should get a trainer that knows how to make him a better boxer. If not well... we've seen his best.

A good offense is a good defense.

The problem is Miranda doesn't make the most out of it. When he throws his right hand he steps one step back and poses with his head up in the air. Abraham noticed that and he took advantage.

The other thing is Miranda does a lot of flatfooted punching. Because of that I think he wasn't acustomed to punching off the balls of his feet. If he were then he'd have more power against Pavlik.

Nothing wrong with Miranda other than those faults. No, he isn't damaged goods. He lost to the two best middleweights in the world who both match him in terms of youth, power and size, and overwhelm him in technical knowhow.

Miranda needs someone who is going to guide him in the right direction. I am of the opinion that he isn't getting the proper training in the gym.

I can't believe that Miranda would be a good gatekeeper. Yeah he's tough enough, but he's also too dangerous a power puncher. Who do think promoters are going to send their young prospects against? The gatekeeper who's there by virtue of his skill or the gatekeeper who's there due to his monstrous power punching? The answer is the one who is least likely to send their young prospect to the hospital.

Miranda's problem isn't the three losses. It's that for two of the three he looked really outclassed. He's now had three fights against world champion level opponents. ( Though Pavlik didn't officially become one until his fight after Miranda ) That's a lot more bites at the apple then most fighters get. I think that Miranda may by virtue of his "colorful personality" and another rebuilding fight be able to get one more shot but I think that will be it. He can't afford to be beaten this badly again.
