Edwin Valero is a southpaw and who's to say that Pacquiao doesn't have trouble with fellow soutpaws.

Also all this hype about Pacquiao who beat two guys that were definitely on their way out. He hasn't beat a top notch guy in their prime.

Don't forget that Pacquiao isn't the best boxer either so it wouldn't be that hard to stay into the fight, especially if you have a decent chin and are a straight forward fighter yourself.

Don't rush to crown Pacquiao ... he will lose against Marquez and maybe then someone realizes that he's not that good.

Valero only needs the chance to fight one of the big names. He already has a title and if i'm not mistaken Pacman hasn't a legit title in almost 4 years.

aggred i think that valero is being a tad underrated here pac v valero in the phillipines would be a good fight for pac's fillipino fans and a chance for valero to prove himself but i still think guzman is the best at 130.

    How is that Brah?

Morales had lost previously to Raheem and had trouble making 130 --

Barerra got a gift against Juarez, he lost to JMM and had nothing left in the tank.

Both were past their primes --

Pacquiao is fighting for a belt for the first time since he belt since 04 and hasn't had one since 03'

He's been defending a bull**** regional belt for the last 4 yrs.

I think that Valero would knock him out -- he has the perfect chance. Fight Valero in the Phillipeans w/ no bull**** supspension is upheld for Valreo's WBA strap. Valero isn't scared he offered to fight PacMan in his hometown.

What does he have to lose?

He'll make his money and fight an undefeated fighter which will look good on his resume and push for bigger title fights.

I know that records don't mean anything but how dope would it be to have an udefeated fighter on your resume that had a title and all of his fights ended by KO.

i'm giving valero at least a 10% chance or possibility to knock out pac, given the fact that when he was still a super bantamweight if not for the slow count when he was dropped by nedal hussein (he was hit on the chin unlike his 2 previous ko losses)it would have been an L for him.. but i am still rooting for pac against valero because the latter is just a crude brawler who can bang and pacman is faster and more accurate in his punches...

    I love PacMan
I bought that bull**** ass fight against Barrera (2nd time around)

I got all 3 morales fights on tape

I didn't watch the solis or Larios fight but those were against two smaller guys.

I did see JMM get robbed against him as well

If I hated him I wouldn't watch him. I'm a fan of the sport and if I see a good fight looming then I watch em.

You seem insecure and afraid that your beloved pacquiao is hated - he well respected.

I just think that he should look more at feather and superfeathers rather than eye ridiculous mismatches. (Juan and David Diaz, or Hatton)

Gamboa (who will be in the mix by next year) he's already top 5 by WBA

I think that maybe JMM will give Valero fits but at the same time a straight left landed flush and his night is over.

PacMan would be baited into a brawl and his power isn't evident at 130 - I see Valero knocking him out ...

One thing casual fans don't realize is that southpaws have trouble fighting other southpaws - they're so used to fighting orthodox fighters and when they fight another southpaw they find it difficult.

I see very few fighters giving Valero trouble -- I said before and i'll say it again, Valero's power will carry on to probably 140.

the first elite or maybe even A-level fighter valero finally faces will expose him but hopefully not kill him in the process.

thats ok, Valero is one fighter with a high punchers chance, but so does Pac. I dont think Valero can take Pac's punches.
If both can take each others punches then i still pick Pac on workrate and aggression.

I doubt that he can take Valero's punch --
most of the guys that Pacquiao has faced at featherweight were light punchers and like I mentioned before his power his wilted down a bit since he's moved up from featherweight --

He's not knocking quality guys out - don't even bother to mention Barerra & Morales. (they were finished)

He hasn't fought anyone of late Pacquiao is overrated and I think Valero would knock him out. PacMan is not the best boxer so I don't see him out boxing Valero and that'll be the only chance he has. He a brawler and if they get into any exchanges trust me Valero would end his night.

valero got KD'd by mosquera and definitely pac punches a lot more harder. pac can also end valero's night as well, maybe even worse (knock on wood).

pac has taken the hardest punches of elite fighters like barrera, morales and marquez w/o going down. valero can't even take the punches of a B-level fighter like mosquera. valero has a suspect chin (as well as head) against b-level opposition and higher. if you're really a true fan of valero, the last thing you should want is for him to fight pac w/ that brain injury of his.

Pac hasnt fought anyone as of late? and Valero fought whom?? looks like if there's some overrating happening now its you!:yep I havent even seen Valero fight anyone who hits as hard as Pac, workrate like Pac... There's a reason why you dont see valero in the P4P lists considering his padded record, its because he isnt. He's impressive dont get me wrong, but the way you're hyping him up is just crazy. PAC KO Valero 3rd round.:hi:

Have you ever seen Valero fight?

I doubt it -- he's only been on TV in the US once and that was a low key PPV.

    I seen him fight before
