    Awesome news.
    I'd still favor Casa to outbox Valero but the venezuelean is on a roll and in his prime.
    Also Katsidis vs Escobedo would be great.I'd pick Katsidis by TKO.

    in terms, casamayor did a number on katsidis, and had a tough fight with the possible top 5 pound 4 pounder.

    so even though he is past it he still has some credentials...cruz in all honeslty just shut him down which clearly boxing technician/student of the sport/genius valero can do....

    that was not casamayor who called him that it was Jorge Barrios. but anyways i would love to see this fight. Casamayor is past prime but he would still be the best opponent in valero's career.

    I think Valero would be too much for casa...Casa is already way past his prime, and valero has too much power...No matter how crafty casa is, sooner or latervalero will connect and i dont that old chin could handle it...IMHO

    Casamayor fought katsidis who is a big puncher himself. He did score a Kd against casamayor but in the end casamayor knock him out. I could see this happening again. Plus lets not forget even at 37 or 38 whenever this fight happens. Casamayor is the best fighter valero will fight.

    Casamayor fought marquez good who is consider one of the best in the world today. I think if casamayor can fight like he did against marquez he will KTFO valero.

    Bad move for old Cepillo. Valero should be ashamed and fight someone his age and as strong. Soto, Juan Diaz (though not a strong puncher but relentless), Linares, Antillon, et al...

    if they ever fight, i'll pick valero, he was right after all. These lightweights are old, valero should chase pac and moved up to 140 lbs just like guzman

    The outcome of this fight depends on how much Casa has got left in the tank. I like Valero, but Casa is a vastily superior fighter.

    If Casa was a few years younger then he boxes the socks off Valero.

    The old guy is just too old now and I think Valero will knock him out.

    I was hoping Valero would fight Soto or Katsidis next but a Casa fight is still good.
