Soto is very possible. Diaz is not an option because he just got knocked out and GBP already made that clear. Guzman should get off his lazy ass and fight him.

Like I've stated before, JMM and Pac are not realistic for the fact there is not enough money in those fights. Arum's plan is to have Ed fight a couple good names and hopefully get Pacquiao in the ring with him before Pac retires.

It's like you want Ed to fight PAC.:huh Personally I do too, but only b/c I want to see a KO. But for Ed he's very marketable, has a great power and his potential is up there. To put him in there with PAC could ruin his career before it really ever gets going. He's got some good years ahead of him but not if he is managed poorly.

Antillon wants to fight him, and so does Soto. Antillon is still a contender but Soto will be a good move for his next fight. I'm surprised Antillon is keen on that fight since he's been sparked by Valero while wearing head-gear but I guess he thinks he's improved enough since then.

Yeah, I want the fight to happen after Ed has a couple more fights to be showcased in the U.S. I don't have any reservations about him fighting Pacquiao. It'll be a great fight.

All of the "Valero vs Pac" argument people are really going about this the wrong way. Soto won't get you Pac and honestly neither will Juan Diaz. They're important COGs in the machine but not the machine itself.

If I was directing Valero, He would've taken the Prescott fight. After blasting out Prescott, I would've gone hard after a fight against Michael Katsidis. Not only is Katsidis an entertaining warrior type fighter whose got HBO's backing, he's tailor made for the power punching Valero. The guy cuts easy, he's easy to hit and his punch resistance is shaky (down 3 times against Casa, rocked against Earl and Czar). Not to mention he's -nudge nudge wink wink- mandated for JMM. If Marquez loses to PBF and Valero beats Katsidis, there's your fight right there. If we get lucky and beat Marquez, there's Pac.

There's no doubt there will be a KO. Within 3 rounds I imagine.

IT seems like Antillon has become a flavor of the month for doing basically nothing. Ive seen alot of posters talking about him these days like he's some big threat but he isn't gonna do anything for Valero's career. Beating him means very little.

    In Inca needs Soto.

Antillon's also an in-fighter. He won't get inside against Valero. Ed would pound him from a distance.

Soto isn't a name nor is he much of a draw. Again another cog in the machine.

What Valero needs is a fight against Marquez, although I'm fairly certain he and Pac will never meet up anyways. Arum knows he has only has Pac for a short while longer...he'll ride that train dry and then jump to Concepcion or Valero as his defacto replacement.

I NEVER want to see Valero and JMM fight. JMM just beat a young prime fighter. He doesn't need to fight another one. Pacquiao should before he retires. JMM has the biggest fight now.

True......Ed has the power to put PAC to sleep. I just dont think he has the experience or tools at this stage in his career to capitolize on the kind of power he has. In a couple of years or maybe even a year.....Valero may be ready but not now. Loosing for Ed may ruin him if its devastating. He's got a punchers chance and with a guy like PAC he'll need a little more than that.
